Recent Announcements for 2013

Trinity Broadcasting Network, the world's largest religious broadcaster with 24-plus networks and affiliates airing Christian television on every inhabited continent, announced that it is partnering with Christian leaders in Pakistan to expand the broadcast outreach of the nation's only Christian network, Jesus Christ Television.

Europe is a hot spot of exciting activity for Trinity Broadcasting Network, the world's largest Christian broadcaster with 24 global networks touching every inhabited continent. The network recently added seven full-power stations in Spain, a major hub for TBN Europe, and is in the final stages of construction on a state-of-the-art studio in London, TBN's other European network center.

As Trinity Broadcasting Network celebrates forty years as a trailblazer in faith and family television, leaders and legislators from around the nation are weighing in with their own congratulations. Among them is the State Senate of Hawaii, which passed an official resolution commending TBN on the historic milestone and noting the importance of the network's broadcast presence throughout the state. Noting that TBN is the largest Christian broadcaster in the world with 20-plus global networks and 18,000 television and cable affiliates worldwide, the resolution acknowledges TBN's impacting presence across the Big Island, as well as on Oahu and Maui.

Trinity Broadcasting Network, America's premier Christian broadcaster, announced that several programs airing on TBN's Smile of a Child kid's channel and the JCTV youth channel have been nominated for coveted Crown Awards, presented annually by International Christian Visual Media (ICVM). Each year ICVM, an organization of Christian visual media professionals, presents the Crown Awards to recognize the best in films and videos that reflect Christian values to a secular world.

When Trinity Broadcasting Network first signed on the air May 28, 1973, on a tiny, barely functioning low-power station we had recently acquired in Southern California, my wife, Jan, and I had no idea how to “do” Christian television. There were no models, no guide books, no marketing experts to tell us what viewers wanted or would watch. In fact, we weren't even sure anyone would tune in! All we knew was that God had called us to use the medium of television to be a part of fulfilling His great commission, to “go into all the world and preach the Gospel.” So we began, with one borrowed camera, a shower curtain for a backdrop, two folding chairs — and hearts full of faith that God would bless our efforts

Nearly 25 years ago in the bustling Central American city of San Jose, Costa Rica, Dr. Paul Crouch, founder of Christian television giant Trinity Broadcasting Network, stepped alongside a Latin American businessman and minister who was struggling to get his own Christian television station on the air. The miracle that grew out of that divinely inspired partnership has become part of TBN's 40-year legacy, as the tiny, fledgling Spanish-language TV station has grown into the world's largest Latino Christian broadcasting network Enlace, which reaches all of North, Central, and South America, the Caribbean, and parts of western Europe and Northern Africa with 24-hour Christian television for the entire family.

George Beverly Shea once said that he was grateful “for the opportunity to sing a little song before that man speaks.” That man, of course, was Dr. Billy Graham, and Mr. Shea was destined to be Billy Graham's featured soloist for over 65 years, his rich baritone becoming synonymous with such sacred classics as “Just As I Am,” “I'd Rather Have Jesus,” and the song he introduced to American audiences in 1957, “How Great Thou Art.”

Thirty-six million conversions to Christ in the past 40 years! Yes, it sounds unbelievable, but that really is the number of salvation reports Christian television mainstay Trinity Broadcasting Network has received since it first went on the air May 28, 1973. And most of those reports have come through TBN's prayer ministry, which has been hard at work alongside TBN founders Paul and Jan Crouch from day one.

04-02-2013 has published its prestigious Readers' Choice Awards for America's most popular theme parks, and Holy Land Experience, TBN's Orlando, Florida family vacation and worship destination, has won the distinction of having the nation's Best Theme Park Holidays Event for its spectacular month-long Christmas program. Holy Land Experience beat out a number of noted Christmas programs at other parks — including Busch Gardens, Dollywood, and even Disneyland — to win the distinction.

Trinity Broadcasting Network is gearing up to celebrate its 40th anniversary, and TBN Vice President Matthew Crouch said the coming months will give the Christian television mainstay abundant opportunity to reflect on the blessings and fruit God has given the network over the past several decades, as well as to consider the many opportunities for the future.

Trinity Broadcasting Network, the world's largest religious broadcaster, announced that it has installed nearly one hundred Direct-to-Home (DTH) satellite dishes in scores of small villages in central Russia, resulting in the launch of at least 80 churches in the largely Muslim area.

What started out forty years ago as a struggling California TV station airing a few hours of inspirational programming a night has grown to over twenty international networks broadcasting life-changing programming 24 hours a day on every inhabited continent. And through TBN's Mobile App, folks with iPhones, iPads, Androids, and other mobile devices can now access a dozen of TBN's most popular networks in real time, while also catching the best of TBN's archived movies, ministry programs, concerts, and more — on-demand, anytime and anywhere
