  • we're in Big Sky Montana.
  • 00:00:02.190 --> 00:00:05.040
  • 00:00:05.050 --> 00:00:15.050
  • Jim: Ever since I was a boy, I've been fascinated
  • 00:00:16.100 --> 00:00:19.060
  • with God's creation.
  • 00:00:19.070 --> 00:00:21.050
  • I'm traveling the planet to tell his story about his world.
  • 00:00:21.060 --> 00:00:25.050
  • I'm Jim Scudder, Jr. Come with me on another
  • 00:00:25.060 --> 00:00:28.200
  • exciting adventure "InGrace."
  • 00:00:28.210 --> 00:00:31.060
  • 00:00:31.070 --> 00:00:35.150
  • Jim: Welcome to "InGrace."
  • 00:00:35.160 --> 00:00:36.250
  • We have a really special episode for you today.
  • 00:00:36.260 --> 00:00:39.100
  • What we're gonna do today is we're gonna get up to the top,
  • 00:00:39.110 --> 00:00:42.080
  • and we're going to be able to see God's beautiful creation
  • 00:00:42.090 --> 00:00:46.010
  • on the top of a mountain.
  • 00:00:46.020 --> 00:00:47.170
  • We're also gonna try to ski down and live and not die,
  • 00:00:47.180 --> 00:00:50.230
  • so that's the hard part.
  • 00:00:50.240 --> 00:00:52.060
  • I'm always real careful.
  • 00:00:52.070 --> 00:00:53.160
  • I'm not a thrill seeker.
  • 00:00:53.170 --> 00:00:55.090
  • I love adventure.
  • 00:00:55.100 --> 00:00:56.190
  • I love to ski. I started when I was a kid.
  • 00:00:56.200 --> 00:00:59.030
  • Mom and Dad took us skiing, but in Illinois and Wisconsin,
  • 00:00:59.040 --> 00:01:01.210
  • the hills are mole hills.
  • 00:01:01.220 --> 00:01:03.160
  • I mean, these are mountains.
  • 00:01:03.170 --> 00:01:05.030
  • We're gonna talk about faith today.
  • 00:01:05.040 --> 00:01:06.280
  • Did you know that faith can move a mountain?
  • 00:01:06.290 --> 00:01:10.070
  • And we're gonna discuss Hebrews chapter 11.
  • 00:01:10.080 --> 00:01:12.260
  • This is gonna be a really great "InGrace" episode,
  • 00:01:12.270 --> 00:01:15.250
  • and I hope that you really enjoy it,
  • 00:01:15.260 --> 00:01:17.260
  • looking at the beautiful creation of God.
  • 00:01:17.270 --> 00:01:20.030
  • 00:01:20.040 --> 00:01:25.220
  • Jim: Our adventure begins on the ski slopes
  • 00:01:27.250 --> 00:01:29.180
  • of Big Sky, Montana.
  • 00:01:29.190 --> 00:01:31.220
  • Along with my wife, Karen, and our friends Paul and Molly
  • 00:01:31.230 --> 00:01:34.180
  • Julian, and Tom and Shannon Murray, we weathered
  • 00:01:34.190 --> 00:01:37.180
  • the subzero temperatures, and we got our gear on
  • 00:01:37.190 --> 00:01:41.110
  • and headed to the ski lift.
  • 00:01:41.120 --> 00:01:43.140
  • 00:01:43.150 --> 00:01:45.260
  • Jim: This is a really neat ski area.
  • 00:01:45.270 --> 00:01:48.190
  • It looks like it's kind of crowded,
  • 00:01:48.200 --> 00:01:50.040
  • but this mountain is so huge.
  • 00:01:50.050 --> 00:01:51.230
  • There's really not many people, so you can get right down into
  • 00:01:51.240 --> 00:01:55.040
  • line, and then all these runs are pretty clear.
  • 00:01:55.050 --> 00:01:59.190
  • So it's really cool to be able to see creation,
  • 00:01:59.200 --> 00:02:03.090
  • see the beautiful snow, the trees, the mountains,
  • 00:02:03.100 --> 00:02:06.070
  • all the way around you.
  • 00:02:06.080 --> 00:02:07.230
  • It's awesome.
  • 00:02:07.240 --> 00:02:09.130
  • 00:02:09.140 --> 00:02:11.170
  • Jim: What I love about the mountains is you just see
  • 00:02:11.180 --> 00:02:14.120
  • the grandeur and power and might of God.
  • 00:02:14.130 --> 00:02:18.050
  • Karen Scudder: Beautiful. Jim: Really breathtaking.
  • 00:02:18.060 --> 00:02:20.020
  • 00:02:20.030 --> 00:02:21.250
  • Jim: As we skied down this beautiful mountain,
  • 00:02:21.260 --> 00:02:24.150
  • I was surprised to see a woman skiing, who was blind.
  • 00:02:24.160 --> 00:02:29.110
  • It reminded me that the Bible says we should walk by faith
  • 00:02:29.120 --> 00:02:33.150
  • and not by sight, but, one day, when we see Jesus in heaven,
  • 00:02:33.160 --> 00:02:39.010
  • our faith will be sight.
  • 00:02:39.020 --> 00:02:41.120
  • 00:02:44.040 --> 00:02:46.050
  • Jim: After a full and tiring day of skiing, we decided to
  • 00:02:46.060 --> 00:02:49.120
  • take a break and see Big Sky from another perspective.
  • 00:02:49.130 --> 00:02:54.070
  • We had heard about a beautiful waterfall that was now frozen.
  • 00:02:54.080 --> 00:02:58.280
  • Our hike was several miles, but along the way,
  • 00:02:58.290 --> 00:03:02.030
  • we were constantly reminded of the beauty
  • 00:03:02.040 --> 00:03:04.260
  • and majesty of God's creation.
  • 00:03:04.270 --> 00:03:08.090
  • Molly Julian: As we were hiking today, I was thinking
  • 00:03:08.100 --> 00:03:09.240
  • about how it's very easy on a hike to look down and watch your
  • 00:03:09.250 --> 00:03:13.250
  • footing, but that made me realize that I was forgetting to
  • 00:03:13.260 --> 00:03:16.150
  • look up and see all of the beautiful creation that God has
  • 00:03:16.160 --> 00:03:19.010
  • made, and so often in life, I think, even with trials,
  • 00:03:19.020 --> 00:03:22.160
  • when we're downtrodden, we need to look up and remember
  • 00:03:22.170 --> 00:03:24.260
  • how amazing our God is and how he takes care of all our needs.
  • 00:03:24.270 --> 00:03:28.130
  • 00:03:28.140 --> 00:03:32.270
  • Jim: Ousel Falls, here in Montana,
  • 00:03:32.280 --> 00:03:35.190
  • it's beautiful how the water has just frozen in place.
  • 00:03:35.200 --> 00:03:40.100
  • I love looking at God's creation and exploring it.
  • 00:03:40.110 --> 00:03:43.290
  • There's a little cave in here, so, hopefully,
  • 00:03:44.000 --> 00:03:46.010
  • there's no hibernating bears.
  • 00:03:46.020 --> 00:03:47.280
  • 00:03:47.290 --> 00:03:50.080
  • Karen: Simply amazing. Words can't describe it.
  • 00:03:50.090 --> 00:03:52.020
  • It is gorgeous.
  • 00:03:52.030 --> 00:03:54.040
  • It's really neat to have the opportunity to see all the
  • 00:03:54.050 --> 00:03:57.120
  • things that God created and to be here for the first time.
  • 00:03:57.130 --> 00:04:01.050
  • This is really cool.
  • 00:04:01.060 --> 00:04:02.230
  • Shannon Murray: The waterfall is amazing,
  • 00:04:02.240 --> 00:04:04.140
  • beautiful, spectacular.
  • 00:04:04.150 --> 00:04:06.050
  • 00:04:06.060 --> 00:04:10.280
  • Jim: When we talked about faith, we read in the Bible
  • 00:04:10.290 --> 00:04:13.090
  • that faith the size of a grain of mustard seed
  • 00:04:13.100 --> 00:04:16.140
  • can move a mountain.
  • 00:04:16.150 --> 00:04:18.010
  • Now, there's a part of a mountain behind me, and you see
  • 00:04:18.020 --> 00:04:20.290
  • this waterfall coming off the mountain,
  • 00:04:21.000 --> 00:04:23.110
  • and it's frozen, and you see a climber.
  • 00:04:23.120 --> 00:04:25.150
  • Now, he has faith, but the faith of a grain of mustard seed
  • 00:04:25.160 --> 00:04:30.190
  • can move a mountain, so faith is essential.
  • 00:04:30.200 --> 00:04:34.240
  • Faith is an essential component to the Christian life.
  • 00:04:34.250 --> 00:04:38.000
  • To please God, to know God, faith is what we need to learn
  • 00:04:38.010 --> 00:04:41.240
  • about and discover.
  • 00:04:41.250 --> 00:04:44.000
  • 00:04:44.010 --> 00:04:46.220
  • Paul Julian: When you look at this ice fall behind us,
  • 00:04:46.230 --> 00:04:48.290
  • what you'll notice is the ice is built up over time
  • 00:04:49.000 --> 00:04:51.170
  • because of the cold temperatures,
  • 00:04:51.180 --> 00:04:53.260
  • but the incredible thing
  • 00:04:53.270 --> 00:04:55.060
  • is that the water is still flowing on the outside.
  • 00:04:55.070 --> 00:04:57.160
  • It just reminds you of God's grace, where life can get tough,
  • 00:04:57.170 --> 00:05:01.260
  • things can get hard and almost seems like maybe the water
  • 00:05:01.270 --> 00:05:04.220
  • is not coming, but it's still flowing,
  • 00:05:04.230 --> 00:05:07.200
  • and God's grace is always, always good.
  • 00:05:07.210 --> 00:05:11.290
  • Jim: As tempting as it was to climb that waterfall, I think
  • 00:05:12.000 --> 00:05:15.180
  • we'll leave that adventure to more experienced climbers.
  • 00:05:15.190 --> 00:05:21.010
  • After a long day in the snow, there's nothing
  • 00:05:21.020 --> 00:05:23.230
  • like a warm cabin.
  • 00:05:23.240 --> 00:05:26.060
  • Next, I sat down with Molly Julian to hear her story
  • 00:05:26.070 --> 00:05:31.050
  • of how she came to faith in Jesus Christ.
  • 00:05:31.060 --> 00:05:33.210
  • Jim: This is quite the place, especially where you have these
  • 00:05:34.220 --> 00:05:37.230
  • huge windows, and you can see the ski runs out there
  • 00:05:37.240 --> 00:05:42.040
  • and the beauty of God's creation.
  • 00:05:42.050 --> 00:05:44.140
  • We've seen the water that's frozen from a waterfall.
  • 00:05:44.150 --> 00:05:48.060
  • Molly: That's beautiful.
  • 00:05:48.070 --> 00:05:49.160
  • Jim: Yeah.
  • 00:05:49.170 --> 00:05:50.260
  • So we were able to kind of get a real taste of the area, and
  • 00:05:50.270 --> 00:05:53.020
  • we'll be out there on the slopes tomorrow, and then heading to
  • 00:05:53.030 --> 00:05:56.050
  • Yellowstone, so all that's pretty cool, but we're talkin'
  • 00:05:56.060 --> 00:05:59.200
  • about faith, and that's what God wants in our life, and he wants
  • 00:05:59.210 --> 00:06:02.200
  • us to strive for faithfulness.
  • 00:06:02.210 --> 00:06:04.230
  • So how did it all start?
  • 00:06:04.240 --> 00:06:06.260
  • Molly: Well, many years ago, many, many years ago--I think
  • 00:06:06.270 --> 00:06:10.090
  • I was 12, and was unhappy.
  • 00:06:10.100 --> 00:06:13.160
  • I grew up Catholic.
  • 00:06:13.170 --> 00:06:14.260
  • My best friend grew up Jewish.
  • 00:06:14.270 --> 00:06:17.040
  • Neither one of us really felt like there was anything there
  • 00:06:17.050 --> 00:06:21.000
  • that we wanted to pursue as far as religion for our lives.
  • 00:06:21.010 --> 00:06:27.050
  • Jim: What was it that, like, turns you off,
  • 00:06:27.060 --> 00:06:29.050
  • maybe, toward that religion?
  • 00:06:29.060 --> 00:06:32.140
  • Molly: Since I was a little girl, like, kindergarten,
  • 00:06:32.150 --> 00:06:35.030
  • I remember I have been really good, really good at one thing
  • 00:06:35.040 --> 00:06:38.160
  • in life, and I have mastered the art of worry.
  • 00:06:38.170 --> 00:06:41.170
  • One of the things that I worried about
  • 00:06:41.180 --> 00:06:43.100
  • was where was I gonna go when I died?
  • 00:06:43.110 --> 00:06:46.130
  • Jim: Even as a child, before 12,
  • 00:06:46.140 --> 00:06:48.180
  • you're worried about eternity?
  • 00:06:48.190 --> 00:06:50.180
  • Molly: Oh, sure.
  • 00:06:50.190 --> 00:06:51.290
  • You know, I was taught, ask God to forgive you of all of your
  • 00:06:52.000 --> 00:06:54.290
  • sins, but how do you know if today maybe you did the one
  • 00:06:55.000 --> 00:06:57.000
  • thing that was so bad that God couldn't allow you into heaven?
  • 00:06:57.010 --> 00:07:00.230
  • So I just remember, as a girl, kneeling beside my
  • 00:07:00.240 --> 00:07:03.250
  • pink-and-white-checkered canopy bed, just begging God to please
  • 00:07:03.260 --> 00:07:07.150
  • give me another chance, that this wasn't gonna be the one
  • 00:07:07.160 --> 00:07:09.180
  • thing that was gonna keep me from heaven.
  • 00:07:09.190 --> 00:07:12.250
  • Eventually, I came to visit Quentin Road
  • 00:07:12.260 --> 00:07:15.160
  • and heard the clear gospel.
  • 00:07:15.170 --> 00:07:18.260
  • Jim: So the difference between what you heard at our
  • 00:07:18.270 --> 00:07:21.210
  • church and what you'd heard previously in other churches
  • 00:07:21.220 --> 00:07:24.170
  • is "faith" defined?
  • 00:07:24.180 --> 00:07:27.010
  • You know, Catholic, or even some Baptists, will define "faith"
  • 00:07:27.020 --> 00:07:30.060
  • as "trusting the Lord and doing your part," and that's works,
  • 00:07:30.070 --> 00:07:34.070
  • that's tryin' to try to take works and faith and meld them,
  • 00:07:34.080 --> 00:07:36.280
  • and they cannot be melded together.
  • 00:07:36.290 --> 00:07:38.230
  • If you try that, then you're going to have a lot of worry, a
  • 00:07:38.240 --> 00:07:43.050
  • lot of confusion, and you're never gonna be sure,
  • 00:07:43.060 --> 00:07:46.010
  • but God wants us to be sure of our salvation.
  • 00:07:46.020 --> 00:07:49.050
  • So what did you hear that day and that impressed you?
  • 00:07:49.060 --> 00:07:53.120
  • Molly: It was life-changing, the fact that I knew for sure
  • 00:07:53.130 --> 00:07:56.250
  • I could go to heaven, that it was a complete gift
  • 00:07:56.260 --> 00:08:00.160
  • that Christ had given for me.
  • 00:08:00.170 --> 00:08:02.230
  • Jim: You heard it explained that it's by grace that you're
  • 00:08:02.240 --> 00:08:05.270
  • saved through faith, not of yourself, and a gift of God.
  • 00:08:05.280 --> 00:08:09.110
  • So you heard that, and it resonated, and you're like,
  • 00:08:09.120 --> 00:08:13.150
  • "That's it"?
  • 00:08:13.160 --> 00:08:14.250
  • Molly: Mm-hmm, yup, it made all the difference in the world
  • 00:08:14.260 --> 00:08:17.130
  • to realize that that was one thing I didn't have to worry
  • 00:08:17.140 --> 00:08:20.020
  • about anymore.
  • 00:08:20.030 --> 00:08:21.120
  • God was God. He took care of that for me.
  • 00:08:21.130 --> 00:08:23.260
  • He wanted me to be his child, and he wasn't gonna make me
  • 00:08:23.270 --> 00:08:27.190
  • not his child tomorrow just because I blew it.
  • 00:08:27.200 --> 00:08:31.010
  • That was huge for me to have that security,
  • 00:08:31.020 --> 00:08:33.290
  • to realize that I belonged to him forever.
  • 00:08:34.000 --> 00:08:36.230
  • Jim: You received that gift of eternal life that day, and it
  • 00:08:36.240 --> 00:08:40.040
  • has made the difference, and it's how you entered a life of
  • 00:08:40.050 --> 00:08:44.180
  • faith, and now your life of faith isn't so that you can keep
  • 00:08:44.190 --> 00:08:49.110
  • salvation, but it's because of our salvation.
  • 00:08:49.120 --> 00:08:52.190
  • It's because of that security that we have in the Lord that we
  • 00:08:52.200 --> 00:08:54.140
  • can now serve him, and you're faithful in church, you're
  • 00:08:54.150 --> 00:08:57.230
  • faithful in your work, you're faithful in sharing the Gospel,
  • 00:08:57.240 --> 00:09:01.210
  • and you're a faithful person, and that's what we're trying
  • 00:09:01.220 --> 00:09:04.010
  • to do--be faithful, right?
  • 00:09:04.020 --> 00:09:06.100
  • Molly: Mm-hmm, And, hopefully, be able to help some
  • 00:09:06.110 --> 00:09:10.150
  • other people along the way so that they don't have to struggle
  • 00:09:10.160 --> 00:09:14.240
  • with the uncertainty that I had to struggle with.
  • 00:09:14.250 --> 00:09:18.030
  • God's gift is free and incredible, and so that's why
  • 00:09:18.040 --> 00:09:22.200
  • I love working in ministry, being able to spread the Gospel
  • 00:09:22.210 --> 00:09:26.180
  • to people that we come in contact to, you know, every day.
  • 00:09:26.190 --> 00:09:31.020
  • I love serving God, knowing now that it's because I'm so
  • 00:09:31.030 --> 00:09:35.100
  • appreciative of what he did.
  • 00:09:35.110 --> 00:09:36.290
  • I want to do all that I can while we're here on this earth,
  • 00:09:37.000 --> 00:09:39.240
  • as opposed to my outlook used to be "I have to do this because
  • 00:09:39.250 --> 00:09:44.240
  • I might not get to heaven someday, if I don't."
  • 00:09:44.250 --> 00:09:46.290
  • So it totally changed my outlook.
  • 00:09:47.000 --> 00:09:49.160
  • Jim: There's a phrase in the Bible, a parable that Jesus told
  • 00:09:49.170 --> 00:09:53.080
  • about the faithful servant, and that person heard the words,
  • 00:09:53.090 --> 00:09:57.150
  • "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."
  • 00:09:57.160 --> 00:10:00.070
  • Do you long for that day to hear those words from the Savior?
  • 00:10:00.080 --> 00:10:03.200
  • Molly: Sure, WD degree, absolutely.
  • 00:10:03.210 --> 00:10:05.220
  • That was, you know, one of the things that we were taught in
  • 00:10:05.230 --> 00:10:07.190
  • Bible college was, you know, we only have a short time here, and
  • 00:10:07.200 --> 00:10:12.030
  • only what's done for Christ will last, and what a day it will be
  • 00:10:12.040 --> 00:10:16.010
  • when we finally get to heaven and, hopefully, hear the Lord
  • 00:10:16.020 --> 00:10:18.030
  • say, "Well done," and I think even, you know, I had mentioned
  • 00:10:18.040 --> 00:10:21.220
  • that I struggled with worry all my life, and one of the things
  • 00:10:21.230 --> 00:10:26.010
  • that has helped me is studying God's Word, realizing that worry
  • 00:10:26.020 --> 00:10:30.220
  • is a form of me wanting to take control of situations,
  • 00:10:30.230 --> 00:10:34.160
  • and there are so many situations that I shouldn't have
  • 00:10:34.170 --> 00:10:37.280
  • control of--I can't control.
  • 00:10:37.290 --> 00:10:40.050
  • Only God can control, and so I need to remember that he's got
  • 00:10:40.060 --> 00:10:44.090
  • this, and just trust in him and have faith that he will bring it
  • 00:10:44.100 --> 00:10:49.290
  • all about exactly how he wants it to happen.
  • 00:10:50.000 --> 00:10:52.210
  • That's huge.
  • 00:10:52.220 --> 00:10:54.010
  • 00:10:54.020 --> 00:11:00.080
  • Jim: Today on "InGrace," we're talking about faith, and a
  • 00:11:00.090 --> 00:11:03.180
  • great example of faith is Noah, but Noah and the ark had been
  • 00:11:03.190 --> 00:11:08.000
  • labeled as a fable, and that's why you need this incredible
  • 00:11:08.010 --> 00:11:12.010
  • four-part DVD series, "The Ark of Noah: More Than a Story,"
  • 00:11:12.020 --> 00:11:16.120
  • featuring my friend Ken Ham, at the amazing full-sized ark.
  • 00:11:16.130 --> 00:11:21.040
  • We'll take you on a behind-the-scenes tour to show
  • 00:11:21.050 --> 00:11:23.030
  • you how all the animals could easily fit on board.
  • 00:11:23.040 --> 00:11:26.210
  • We'll also fly you over the Grand Canyon, revealing how the
  • 00:11:26.220 --> 00:11:30.010
  • flood of Noah, not the Colorado River, formed this geography.
  • 00:11:30.020 --> 00:11:34.250
  • This DVD has a lot of truth to help you answer questions about
  • 00:11:34.260 --> 00:11:39.070
  • Genesis and the Bible.
  • 00:11:39.080 --> 00:11:41.140
  • Also, when you order, your generous gift to InGrace will be
  • 00:11:41.150 --> 00:11:44.270
  • matched, doubling the number of people
  • 00:11:44.280 --> 00:11:46.290
  • that we can reach with the Gospel.
  • 00:11:47.000 --> 00:11:49.040
  • Get "The Ark of Noah" today.
  • 00:11:49.050 --> 00:11:52.240
  • Jim: Well, we just got to the ark, and my first impression is,
  • 00:11:52.250 --> 00:11:56.150
  • "Wow, this thing is massive."
  • 00:11:56.160 --> 00:11:59.090
  • Ken Ham: And you look at this, and you see such a complex
  • 00:11:59.100 --> 00:12:02.230
  • interaction of people that God has been preparing for years to
  • 00:12:02.240 --> 00:12:07.120
  • bring them together to do this.
  • 00:12:07.130 --> 00:12:09.050
  • You just stand in awe.
  • 00:12:09.060 --> 00:12:10.210
  • male announcer: For your gift of any amount, we will send you
  • 00:12:10.220 --> 00:12:13.070
  • Jim Scudder's series, "The Ark of Noah: More Than a Story."
  • 00:12:13.080 --> 00:12:17.200
  • Call 800-78-GRACE, or visit ingrace.tv,
  • 00:12:17.210 --> 00:12:22.080
  • for more information.
  • 00:12:22.090 --> 00:12:24.080
  • Jim: All right, I'm tryin' to figure out how we're gonna get
  • 00:12:30.070 --> 00:12:31.240
  • all the way up to the lone peak.
  • 00:12:31.250 --> 00:12:34.250
  • Tryin' to get up to the top of the mountain, so we're gonna
  • 00:12:34.260 --> 00:12:37.230
  • have to get on this lift here called the "Swift Current," then
  • 00:12:37.240 --> 00:12:41.060
  • we have to get on another lift called the "Powder Seeker," and
  • 00:12:41.070 --> 00:12:44.060
  • then we have to get on the tram, which is called the "Lone Peak
  • 00:12:44.070 --> 00:12:46.270
  • Tram," and by the time we get on all these lifts, it'll
  • 00:12:46.280 --> 00:12:49.290
  • eventually take us to the peak, and then we get to decide
  • 00:12:50.000 --> 00:12:52.260
  • whether we're gonna ski down or come back down on the tram.
  • 00:12:52.270 --> 00:12:55.240
  • 00:12:55.250 --> 00:13:00.070
  • Jim: So what we're lookin' at is Lone Peak.
  • 00:13:00.080 --> 00:13:02.080
  • The gondola is coming down.
  • 00:13:02.090 --> 00:13:04.010
  • Our goal today was conquer this mountain--we were going to,
  • 00:13:04.020 --> 00:13:07.060
  • but they've closed it to skiing down,
  • 00:13:07.070 --> 00:13:09.190
  • which is actually not a bad thing.
  • 00:13:09.200 --> 00:13:11.100
  • I'm--was a little worried about getting down this thing
  • 00:13:11.110 --> 00:13:14.120
  • with my skill levels, but we'll be able to take you up there
  • 00:13:14.130 --> 00:13:17.130
  • and get you to the very top.
  • 00:13:17.140 --> 00:13:19.050
  • Jim: So we're standing on the top of Lone Peak,
  • 00:13:20.210 --> 00:13:23.100
  • about 11.000 feet.
  • 00:13:23.110 --> 00:13:25.160
  • Air is a little thin, but we don't have to ski down, at
  • 00:13:25.170 --> 00:13:28.170
  • least, but we did get it to the top, and it is breathtaking.
  • 00:13:28.180 --> 00:13:32.290
  • The clouds--kind of overcast, but when you look around,
  • 00:13:33.000 --> 00:13:36.160
  • you can see the sun coming through, so the sun is, like,
  • 00:13:36.170 --> 00:13:39.260
  • highlighting some of the peaks all the way around us, and they
  • 00:13:39.270 --> 00:13:43.030
  • say, on a clear day, you can see the Tetons, which I think you
  • 00:13:43.040 --> 00:13:48.180
  • might be able to see it today, just under the overcast,
  • 00:13:48.190 --> 00:13:52.160
  • but breathtaking, spectacular.
  • 00:13:52.170 --> 00:13:55.240
  • We are just speechless, standing here,
  • 00:13:55.250 --> 00:13:58.220
  • looking at this immense beauty.
  • 00:13:58.230 --> 00:14:00.150
  • 00:14:00.160 --> 00:14:02.180
  • Paul: This is just unbelievable.
  • 00:14:02.190 --> 00:14:04.150
  • Unbelievable.
  • 00:14:04.160 --> 00:14:06.090
  • And to think that, as vast as this is, the little specks of
  • 00:14:06.100 --> 00:14:12.230
  • people here on this mountaintop, God cares about us so much
  • 00:14:12.240 --> 00:14:18.120
  • that it's incredible.
  • 00:14:18.130 --> 00:14:22.100
  • Jim: We made it down from Lone Peak and back to our cabin,
  • 00:14:22.110 --> 00:14:25.270
  • just in time to hear another story of faith from my friend
  • 00:14:25.280 --> 00:14:30.030
  • Tom Murray.
  • 00:14:30.040 --> 00:14:32.030
  • Jim: We're talkin' about faith and faithfulness.
  • 00:14:32.040 --> 00:14:35.140
  • I think you're a man of faith.
  • 00:14:35.150 --> 00:14:37.060
  • You are a husband, and you're father,
  • 00:14:37.070 --> 00:14:39.150
  • and you're a businessman, and you try to make sure God
  • 00:14:39.160 --> 00:14:42.010
  • is in the focus of all of your life.
  • 00:14:42.020 --> 00:14:46.180
  • Tom Murray: I do. I endeavor to do that.
  • 00:14:46.190 --> 00:14:48.230
  • Jim: How did you come to know the Lord?
  • 00:14:48.240 --> 00:14:51.040
  • Tom: I was raised a Catholic.
  • 00:14:51.050 --> 00:14:52.240
  • I went to Catholic schools.
  • 00:14:52.250 --> 00:14:55.010
  • I was an altar boy, did all of the things parochially that one
  • 00:14:55.020 --> 00:15:00.280
  • would do to be good, religiously.
  • 00:15:00.290 --> 00:15:04.210
  • In my previous life, faith, to me, was wondering how many
  • 00:15:04.220 --> 00:15:09.140
  • "hail Marys" that the priest was gonna ask me to say
  • 00:15:09.150 --> 00:15:12.130
  • as I left the confessional, right?
  • 00:15:12.140 --> 00:15:14.100
  • That was my faith.
  • 00:15:14.110 --> 00:15:15.200
  • If I said 15 of 'em, was I faithful?
  • 00:15:15.210 --> 00:15:18.070
  • And then, did I complete that work?
  • 00:15:18.080 --> 00:15:20.070
  • Jim: You were taking faith and works with religion and
  • 00:15:20.080 --> 00:15:24.150
  • putting them together, and the Bible says you cannot combine
  • 00:15:24.160 --> 00:15:27.130
  • faith and works, it's one or the other.
  • 00:15:27.140 --> 00:15:29.000
  • Tom: Correct, that's it.
  • 00:15:29.010 --> 00:15:30.100
  • Jim: In growing up Catholic, did you know the Bible?
  • 00:15:30.110 --> 00:15:32.260
  • Tom: No, I didn't.
  • 00:15:32.270 --> 00:15:34.060
  • Jim: Were you taught the Bible in--
  • 00:15:34.070 --> 00:15:35.160
  • Tom: I wasn't.
  • 00:15:35.170 --> 00:15:36.260
  • Jim: Okay, so you grew up in that environment, and you're
  • 00:15:36.270 --> 00:15:39.000
  • basically working your way--or trying to work your way
  • 00:15:39.010 --> 00:15:41.110
  • to heaven, right?
  • 00:15:41.120 --> 00:15:42.210
  • Tom: Correct.
  • 00:15:42.220 --> 00:15:44.010
  • Jim: So what--what changed?
  • 00:15:44.020 --> 00:15:45.160
  • What made it to where you now think that it's faith
  • 00:15:45.170 --> 00:15:48.100
  • that saves?
  • 00:15:48.110 --> 00:15:49.210
  • Tom: I think I was probably in my late teens, early 20s.
  • 00:15:49.220 --> 00:15:51.280
  • I had gone to high school with a fellow, and I was going to--I
  • 00:15:51.290 --> 00:15:55.210
  • had an afternoon off, and I was gonna go play a round of golf,
  • 00:15:55.220 --> 00:15:59.090
  • and I got to the golf course and gettin' ready to tee off,
  • 00:15:59.100 --> 00:16:02.170
  • practicin' the putting, the things you do, and I heard my
  • 00:16:02.180 --> 00:16:05.100
  • name, and I turned around, and I said, "Larry, hi, how are you?"
  • 00:16:05.110 --> 00:16:08.230
  • He said, "Tom, I'm great. Who are you playing with?"
  • 00:16:08.240 --> 00:16:11.230
  • I said, "I'm by myself." He said, "Mind if I join you?"
  • 00:16:11.240 --> 00:16:13.190
  • And I said, "No, sure, it'd be great."
  • 00:16:13.200 --> 00:16:15.220
  • And so we played the round of golf.
  • 00:16:15.230 --> 00:16:18.050
  • When we were finished, he asked--he said, "Could I talk to
  • 00:16:18.060 --> 00:16:20.070
  • you for a second?"
  • 00:16:20.080 --> 00:16:21.170
  • And I said, "Sure."
  • 00:16:21.180 --> 00:16:23.010
  • And he said, "Hop in," to his car, and I should've known
  • 00:16:23.020 --> 00:16:27.050
  • something was awry when he hit the car door-lock button and
  • 00:16:27.060 --> 00:16:30.270
  • kind of locked me in and he--
  • 00:16:30.280 --> 00:16:32.270
  • Jim: And you'd seen that movie, right?
  • 00:16:32.280 --> 00:16:34.160
  • Jim: Yeah, he began to admonish me that, you know,
  • 00:16:34.170 --> 00:16:38.090
  • "Based on your lifestyle, and based on what you shared with me
  • 00:16:38.100 --> 00:16:41.200
  • over this round of golf, and based on not much changing from
  • 00:16:41.210 --> 00:16:45.290
  • high school, I'm pretty certain that you're on your way to an
  • 00:16:46.000 --> 00:16:50.060
  • eternity separated from a God, in hell, and there's an answer
  • 00:16:50.070 --> 00:16:55.270
  • for you, and his name is Jesus, and you need to trust him, and
  • 00:16:55.280 --> 00:16:59.100
  • you need to believe that he is the Son of God, and he shed his
  • 00:16:59.110 --> 00:17:03.140
  • blood for you," and he just went on and on, and I thought he was
  • 00:17:03.150 --> 00:17:09.010
  • gonna use one of the golf clubs, then I hit the power unlock
  • 00:17:09.020 --> 00:17:12.220
  • button, and I said, "It's good to see ya, man.
  • 00:17:12.230 --> 00:17:14.200
  • I hope, you know, things are well, and you take care."
  • 00:17:14.210 --> 00:17:17.170
  • Jim: You just wanted out?
  • 00:17:17.180 --> 00:17:18.270
  • Tom: It's "Get me out of this car."
  • 00:17:18.280 --> 00:17:20.080
  • And so, fast-forward almost a decade, and I'm in a business
  • 00:17:20.090 --> 00:17:24.150
  • meeting in Florida, and so we go do the meeting,
  • 00:17:24.160 --> 00:17:26.240
  • we're driving across--you know what Alligator Alley is.
  • 00:17:26.250 --> 00:17:31.130
  • Jim: So you don't want a breakdown.
  • 00:17:31.140 --> 00:17:32.230
  • Tom: Right, right, or stop for jawbreakers
  • 00:17:32.240 --> 00:17:35.160
  • which is what we did.
  • 00:17:35.170 --> 00:17:37.000
  • When we got gas, I hadn't had a jawbreaker since I was a
  • 00:17:37.010 --> 00:17:39.050
  • kid--just grabbin' snacks, right?
  • 00:17:39.060 --> 00:17:41.060
  • I grab a bag of 'em, like, get back in the car, and I'm in the
  • 00:17:41.070 --> 00:17:43.180
  • backseat, "crack," and I hear my tooth.
  • 00:17:43.190 --> 00:17:45.290
  • It literally--
  • 00:17:46.000 --> 00:17:47.090
  • Jim: That's why they call 'em jawbreakers.
  • 00:17:47.100 --> 00:17:48.250
  • Tom: Disintegrates.
  • 00:17:48.260 --> 00:17:50.050
  • Yeah, I should've thought about that.
  • 00:17:50.060 --> 00:17:51.290
  • Jim: Read the warning label.
  • 00:17:52.000 --> 00:17:53.090
  • Tom: But God had a plan and a use for those jawbreakers,
  • 00:17:53.100 --> 00:17:55.230
  • it turns out.
  • 00:17:55.240 --> 00:17:57.060
  • Jim: What an unusual story. So what would the plan be?
  • 00:17:57.070 --> 00:17:59.000
  • Why would God have allowed you to break your tooth?
  • 00:17:59.010 --> 00:18:01.180
  • Tom: I was in excruciating pain, and we found--not we.
  • 00:18:01.190 --> 00:18:07.000
  • I literally was cutting holes into the vinyl door handle
  • 00:18:07.010 --> 00:18:10.240
  • with my nails.
  • 00:18:10.250 --> 00:18:12.060
  • It was that bad.
  • 00:18:12.070 --> 00:18:13.160
  • My boss found a husband-wife oral-surgeon team.
  • 00:18:13.170 --> 00:18:16.170
  • I think it was 7 o'clock at night.
  • 00:18:16.180 --> 00:18:18.060
  • Graciously agreed to open their office.
  • 00:18:18.070 --> 00:18:20.110
  • He gets into my mouth.
  • 00:18:20.120 --> 00:18:23.010
  • He cleans me up.
  • 00:18:23.020 --> 00:18:24.120
  • He gives me some pain medications.
  • 00:18:24.130 --> 00:18:25.260
  • And I will never forget the next words which were
  • 00:18:25.270 --> 00:18:28.030
  • "Someone upstairs likes you."
  • 00:18:28.040 --> 00:18:30.060
  • And I said, "Really? How's that?"
  • 00:18:30.070 --> 00:18:33.100
  • And he said, "Well, you've got an abscess.
  • 00:18:33.110 --> 00:18:35.250
  • It wasn't just the tooth--" and I didn't even have a toothache.
  • 00:18:35.260 --> 00:18:37.180
  • It was really odd-- "and it's really severe, extreme, so
  • 00:18:37.190 --> 00:18:41.220
  • extreme that it's breached the wall to your sinus cavity, and
  • 00:18:41.230 --> 00:18:45.170
  • had you gone up in this plane--" and I still don't remember
  • 00:18:45.180 --> 00:18:48.270
  • 'cause I was supposed to fly home the next day, and he said,
  • 00:18:48.280 --> 00:18:51.050
  • "That's not gonna happen, but had you got up in that plane
  • 00:18:51.060 --> 00:18:54.000
  • with this hole in your sinus cavity, if there was a sudden
  • 00:18:54.010 --> 00:18:57.120
  • loss of cabin pressure, it would've been the end."
  • 00:18:57.130 --> 00:19:00.090
  • And I said, "Wow, how interesting.
  • 00:19:00.100 --> 00:19:03.120
  • That's neat, and thank you for sharing."
  • 00:19:03.130 --> 00:19:07.050
  • Fast-forward three days later, I finally am headed home,
  • 00:19:07.060 --> 00:19:10.180
  • and I'm groggy.
  • 00:19:10.190 --> 00:19:11.280
  • I get on the airplane, and this is in the days when airplanes
  • 00:19:11.290 --> 00:19:13.290
  • weren't packed like a bus.
  • 00:19:14.000 --> 00:19:16.140
  • There was actually some space, and I was sitting by the window,
  • 00:19:16.150 --> 00:19:19.270
  • and a young lady got on the plane, and she had the same row,
  • 00:19:19.280 --> 00:19:24.270
  • but she was on the aisle, and she said, "Excuse me, sir, do
  • 00:19:24.280 --> 00:19:28.090
  • you mind if I put these in the center seat there for a moment?"
  • 00:19:28.100 --> 00:19:32.130
  • I said, "No, no one is sitting there."
  • 00:19:32.140 --> 00:19:34.260
  • And they were, like, travel brochures, and I said, "Are
  • 00:19:34.270 --> 00:19:38.150
  • you--" just, casually, right?-- "going on vacation?"
  • 00:19:38.160 --> 00:19:41.230
  • And she said, "No, I'm praying about my next missionary
  • 00:19:41.240 --> 00:19:44.080
  • trip-journey," and I said, "Oh, you're going to build some
  • 00:19:44.090 --> 00:19:48.040
  • houses?"
  • 00:19:48.050 --> 00:19:49.250
  • And she kind of gave me a wry smile and said,
  • 00:19:49.260 --> 00:19:51.200
  • "Somethin' like that."
  • 00:19:51.210 --> 00:19:53.020
  • She said, "You go to church?
  • 00:19:53.030 --> 00:19:54.230
  • Do you mind my asking?"
  • 00:19:54.240 --> 00:19:56.030
  • And I said, "No, I don't mind.
  • 00:19:56.040 --> 00:19:57.130
  • Yeah, I go twice a year--" and "Christmas and Easter."
  • 00:19:57.140 --> 00:20:00.220
  • And she said, "You're not by any chance Catholic, are ya?"
  • 00:20:00.230 --> 00:20:04.280
  • And I said, "I am."
  • 00:20:04.290 --> 00:20:06.200
  • And so she sat down, and she started asking me
  • 00:20:06.210 --> 00:20:08.280
  • some questions.
  • 00:20:08.290 --> 00:20:10.080
  • She said--and this is in 1999.
  • 00:20:10.090 --> 00:20:12.030
  • She said--which was, like, the height of the pedophilia, that
  • 00:20:12.040 --> 00:20:16.110
  • horrible time--right?--in their genealogy-- "What's wrong?"
  • 00:20:16.120 --> 00:20:21.270
  • And I said, "Well, I think the fact that priests can't get
  • 00:20:21.280 --> 00:20:24.290
  • married is a problem."
  • 00:20:25.000 --> 00:20:26.270
  • And she opened a Bible that she had, and she opened it
  • 00:20:26.280 --> 00:20:29.230
  • to 1 Timothy chapter 3, and she said, "Here.
  • 00:20:29.240 --> 00:20:33.010
  • Here's the qualifications of a bishop, priest, pastor,"
  • 00:20:33.020 --> 00:20:36.250
  • and I started reading it, and I just stopped dead in my tracks.
  • 00:20:36.260 --> 00:20:40.110
  • It said, "the husband of one wife," and I went,
  • 00:20:40.120 --> 00:20:43.160
  • "Well, that can't be.
  • 00:20:43.170 --> 00:20:45.000
  • That's not the Catholic Bible."
  • 00:20:45.010 --> 00:20:47.010
  • And this young woman went up in the overhead bin,
  • 00:20:47.020 --> 00:20:50.170
  • pulled out a gym bag.
  • 00:20:50.180 --> 00:20:52.030
  • She had to have 12, 13, 14 translations.
  • 00:20:52.040 --> 00:20:55.040
  • She took one out.
  • 00:20:55.050 --> 00:20:56.140
  • She literally threw it into my lap and said,
  • 00:20:56.150 --> 00:20:58.140
  • "Knock your socks off, sport."
  • 00:20:58.150 --> 00:21:00.120
  • And I went, "It's in there.
  • 00:21:00.130 --> 00:21:02.200
  • How could that be?"
  • 00:21:02.210 --> 00:21:04.140
  • "Let me ask you another question: Do you know if this
  • 00:21:04.150 --> 00:21:08.050
  • plane, the engines go out and we end up crashing, do you know
  • 00:21:08.060 --> 00:21:13.230
  • if you're 100% sure that you would go to heaven?"
  • 00:21:13.240 --> 00:21:17.220
  • And I said, "Well, I'm guessing here,
  • 00:21:17.230 --> 00:21:20.140
  • but I'm pretty sure I'd go to hell."
  • 00:21:20.150 --> 00:21:24.100
  • And she followed up with "Have you ever seen this verse?
  • 00:21:24.110 --> 00:21:27.150
  • So I'm assuming that you think you might have some sin?"
  • 00:21:27.160 --> 00:21:29.280
  • I said, "Yeah, right?
  • 00:21:29.290 --> 00:21:32.000
  • I mean, I've never killed anybody or done anything
  • 00:21:32.010 --> 00:21:33.190
  • bad-bad, but, yeah."
  • 00:21:33.200 --> 00:21:35.220
  • And she goes, "Well, read Romans 3:23, 'For all have sinned and
  • 00:21:35.230 --> 00:21:38.200
  • come short of the glory of God,'" and I said, "That's me."
  • 00:21:38.210 --> 00:21:42.010
  • And then she said, "Read Romans 6:23,
  • 00:21:42.020 --> 00:21:44.150
  • 'For the wages of sin is death.'"
  • 00:21:44.160 --> 00:21:46.120
  • And I said, "That makes sense."
  • 00:21:46.130 --> 00:21:48.100
  • And she said, "Actually, in some translations, the word 'death'
  • 00:21:48.110 --> 00:21:51.140
  • literally means 'separation,' so it's not the cessation of air
  • 00:21:51.150 --> 00:21:55.060
  • and the oxygen is gone and you die.
  • 00:21:55.070 --> 00:21:57.150
  • It's you're separated from God for all eternity.
  • 00:21:57.160 --> 00:22:01.070
  • That's the wages of the payment for the sin."
  • 00:22:01.080 --> 00:22:03.220
  • And I said, "It's making even more sense."
  • 00:22:03.230 --> 00:22:06.220
  • I had been fearful of death since I was nine years old.
  • 00:22:06.230 --> 00:22:09.270
  • My grandfather had a heart attack on Christmas morning,
  • 00:22:09.280 --> 00:22:13.240
  • and he just--he was gone immediately, and my mom and my
  • 00:22:13.250 --> 00:22:17.170
  • grandmother, faithful, faithful ladies of their religion, wailed
  • 00:22:17.180 --> 00:22:23.110
  • like I've never heard human beings wail before, right?
  • 00:22:23.120 --> 00:22:26.180
  • And I'm thinking to myself, "If there's a God and there's heaven
  • 00:22:26.190 --> 00:22:30.270
  • and there's more, why do we need to react this way?"
  • 00:22:30.280 --> 00:22:37.000
  • Right?
  • 00:22:37.010 --> 00:22:38.100
  • And so I was terrified, I mean, terrorized as well.
  • 00:22:38.110 --> 00:22:40.240
  • I'd wake up in the middle of the night as a kid, just,
  • 00:22:40.250 --> 00:22:44.000
  • "I'm gonna die, and there's nothin' else," right?
  • 00:22:44.010 --> 00:22:46.040
  • And so that was always in the backdrop, and she said to me,
  • 00:22:46.050 --> 00:22:50.080
  • "You know, you can know for sure that you're going to heaven."
  • 00:22:50.090 --> 00:22:55.030
  • And I said, "You're kidding."
  • 00:22:55.040 --> 00:22:57.100
  • And she said, "No, no, it's not about what you did
  • 00:22:57.110 --> 00:23:01.120
  • or what you do and works.
  • 00:23:01.130 --> 00:23:03.060
  • It's about faith."
  • 00:23:03.070 --> 00:23:05.120
  • Jim: And you made that decision on the airplane?
  • 00:23:05.130 --> 00:23:07.120
  • Tom: And she did--yeah, she said, "You can pray a simple
  • 00:23:07.130 --> 00:23:09.080
  • prayer with me, trust him," and I trusted Christ as my Savior.
  • 00:23:09.090 --> 00:23:13.050
  • I prayed with her.
  • 00:23:13.060 --> 00:23:14.170
  • The plane didn't shake.
  • 00:23:14.180 --> 00:23:16.030
  • The mountains outside didn't move.
  • 00:23:16.040 --> 00:23:18.030
  • I just--I knew that I was washed in this liberating peace.
  • 00:23:18.040 --> 00:23:22.100
  • I knew that I wasn't afraid to die anymore.
  • 00:23:22.110 --> 00:23:25.230
  • I was out of bondage.
  • 00:23:25.240 --> 00:23:29.030
  • I get emotional here.
  • 00:23:29.040 --> 00:23:32.220
  • He did it all, and I didn't have to do anything,
  • 00:23:32.230 --> 00:23:35.230
  • and I didn't have to pay anymore, and I didn't have
  • 00:23:35.240 --> 00:23:37.140
  • to have pain ever again.
  • 00:23:37.150 --> 00:23:42.220
  • 00:23:42.230 --> 00:23:44.110
  • Jim: The Bible said it's by faith, "For by grace are you
  • 00:23:44.120 --> 00:23:47.220
  • saved through faith and that not of yourself.
  • 00:23:47.230 --> 00:23:51.210
  • It's a gift of God, not of works,
  • 00:23:51.220 --> 00:23:54.010
  • lest any man should boast."
  • 00:23:54.020 --> 00:23:55.200
  • To enter in to faith, you must first believe that God is, and
  • 00:23:55.210 --> 00:24:00.150
  • then also you have to believe that he took care of your sin by
  • 00:24:00.160 --> 00:24:06.270
  • sending Jesus to die on the cross, and when you come to that
  • 00:24:06.280 --> 00:24:10.210
  • point of faith and say, "I can't save myself, but right now I put
  • 00:24:10.220 --> 00:24:13.290
  • my trust in Jesus," the Bible says you have everlasting life.
  • 00:24:14.000 --> 00:24:19.130
  • You're literally born again.
  • 00:24:19.140 --> 00:24:21.010
  • You have the peace that passes all understanding.
  • 00:24:21.020 --> 00:24:24.020
  • You know for sure he's your Father,
  • 00:24:24.030 --> 00:24:25.230
  • and you're on your way to heaven.
  • 00:24:25.240 --> 00:24:27.200
  • It's the greatest feeling you'll ever have to know that you
  • 00:24:27.210 --> 00:24:30.140
  • are saved for all eternity.
  • 00:24:30.150 --> 00:24:33.020
  • So as we close part one of our series on "Faith and
  • 00:24:33.030 --> 00:24:36.070
  • Faithfulness" today, I'd like to invite you to put your trust in
  • 00:24:36.080 --> 00:24:39.280
  • Jesus Christ.
  • 00:24:39.290 --> 00:24:41.110
  • He is God in the flesh.
  • 00:24:41.120 --> 00:24:43.040
  • He came, he never sinned, he died, he rose again, and if
  • 00:24:43.050 --> 00:24:46.070
  • you'll put your trust in him, you also can have eternal life.
  • 00:24:46.080 --> 00:24:50.250
  • Let me show you this quick illustration.
  • 00:24:50.260 --> 00:24:52.200
  • This is all of us, and this is sin.
  • 00:24:52.210 --> 00:24:54.220
  • All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
  • 00:24:54.230 --> 00:24:57.050
  • Jesus had no sin.
  • 00:24:57.060 --> 00:24:58.210
  • He was made sin for us on the cross, and when we trust in him,
  • 00:24:58.220 --> 00:25:02.220
  • we have eternal life.
  • 00:25:02.230 --> 00:25:04.190
  • My friends, that's how you enter the life of faith.
  • 00:25:04.200 --> 00:25:08.020
  • You can be saved today by trusting in Jesus Christ.
  • 00:25:08.030 --> 00:25:11.070
  • 00:25:11.080 --> 00:25:17.270
  • Jim: Today on "InGrace," we're talking about faith, and a
  • 00:25:17.280 --> 00:25:21.090
  • great example of faith is Noah, but Noah and the ark had been
  • 00:25:21.100 --> 00:25:25.250
  • labeled as a fable, and that's why you need this incredible
  • 00:25:25.260 --> 00:25:29.210
  • four-part DVD series, "The Ark of Noah: More Than a Story,"
  • 00:25:29.220 --> 00:25:34.000
  • featuring my friend Ken Ham, at the amazing full-sized ark.
  • 00:25:34.010 --> 00:25:38.180
  • We'll take you on a behind-the-scenes tour to show
  • 00:25:38.190 --> 00:25:40.240
  • you how all the animals could easily fit on board.
  • 00:25:40.250 --> 00:25:44.100
  • We'll also fly you over the Grand Canyon, revealing how the
  • 00:25:44.110 --> 00:25:47.200
  • flood of Noah, not the Colorado River, formed this geography.
  • 00:25:47.210 --> 00:25:52.180
  • This DVD has a lot of truth to help you answer questions about
  • 00:25:52.190 --> 00:25:57.010
  • Genesis and the Bible.
  • 00:25:57.020 --> 00:25:59.050
  • Also, when you order, your generous gift to InGrace will be
  • 00:25:59.060 --> 00:26:02.170
  • matched, doubling the number of people
  • 00:26:02.180 --> 00:26:04.210
  • that we can reach with the Gospel.
  • 00:26:04.220 --> 00:26:07.010
  • Get "The Ark of Noah" today.
  • 00:26:07.020 --> 00:26:09.030
  • Jim: Well, we just got to the ark, and my first impression is,
  • 00:26:10.100 --> 00:26:14.080
