  • passionate, and aglow with the Spirit.
  • 00:00:03.150 --> 00:00:06.180
  • (uplifting music)
  • 00:00:06.180 --> 00:00:09.120
  • (transition whooshes)
  • 00:00:10.130 --> 00:00:13.210
  • (transition whooshes)
  • 00:00:13.210 --> 00:00:16.260
  • (transition whooshes)
  • 00:00:17.230 --> 00:00:21.010
  • (transition whooshes)
  • 00:00:21.010 --> 00:00:24.290
  • (transition whooshes)
  • 00:00:24.290 --> 00:00:27.130
  • (logo whooshes)
  • 00:00:27.130 --> 00:00:30.030
  • Hi, I'm Father Cedric Pisegna,
  • 00:00:33.170 --> 00:00:34.220
  • the host of "Live with Passion".
  • 00:00:34.220 --> 00:00:36.000
  • I'm so glad that you're tuning into the program.
  • 00:00:36.000 --> 00:00:38.190
  • I wanna talk to you about passion.
  • 00:00:38.190 --> 00:00:40.250
  • That's the name of this program.
  • 00:00:41.220 --> 00:00:43.110
  • Energy, enthusiasm, being zealous,
  • 00:00:44.140 --> 00:00:49.070
  • letting God flow through you.
  • 00:00:50.040 --> 00:00:51.290
  • There's a scripture for this, it's Romans 12:11,
  • 00:00:51.290 --> 00:00:56.280
  • and it says, "Never flag in Zeal,
  • 00:00:58.020 --> 00:01:00.160
  • "be aglow with the Spirit, serve the Lord."
  • 00:01:01.200 --> 00:01:06.090
  • I love that.
  • 00:01:06.090 --> 00:01:07.190
  • "Never flag in zeal,
  • 00:01:07.190 --> 00:01:09.150
  • "be aglow with the Spirit, serve the Lord."
  • 00:01:09.150 --> 00:01:13.120
  • I love passionate people, people that are alive
  • 00:01:13.120 --> 00:01:18.120
  • and enthusiastic, people that are filled with the Spirit.
  • 00:01:19.250 --> 00:01:23.090
  • I wanted to share with you about one of our priests.
  • 00:01:23.090 --> 00:01:26.070
  • His name is Father Simon.
  • 00:01:26.070 --> 00:01:28.130
  • And I say one of our priests,
  • 00:01:28.130 --> 00:01:29.250
  • I mean I am a Passionist religious and a Catholic priest,
  • 00:01:29.250 --> 00:01:33.190
  • and Father Simon is in our Passionist community.
  • 00:01:33.190 --> 00:01:36.250
  • Well, Father Simon, interesting, he's 97 years old.
  • 00:01:36.250 --> 00:01:41.250
  • He was diagnosed with cancer 30 years ago, colon cancer,
  • 00:01:43.090 --> 00:01:45.250
  • we thought we were gonna lose him
  • 00:01:45.250 --> 00:01:47.030
  • but we didn't lose him, he's outlived everybody.
  • 00:01:47.030 --> 00:01:48.260
  • 97 years old, and at age 97 he still has a ministry,
  • 00:01:48.260 --> 00:01:53.260
  • he writes a newsletter, he counsels people,
  • 00:01:55.000 --> 00:01:58.020
  • he talks to people that come to him
  • 00:01:58.020 --> 00:02:00.230
  • because people are attracted to him,
  • 00:02:00.230 --> 00:02:03.280
  • and his wonderful ministry is something
  • 00:02:03.280 --> 00:02:06.280
  • that reaches out to people
  • 00:02:06.280 --> 00:02:08.050
  • but also he has health problems,
  • 00:02:08.050 --> 00:02:11.070
  • and one of the health problems that he has is his hand.
  • 00:02:11.070 --> 00:02:14.030
  • He has trouble even buttoning his shirt.
  • 00:02:14.030 --> 00:02:16.080
  • One time I was helping him button his shirt
  • 00:02:16.080 --> 00:02:19.180
  • and I looked at his face, I was standing right near him,
  • 00:02:19.180 --> 00:02:21.250
  • he had this big smile on his face,
  • 00:02:21.250 --> 00:02:23.270
  • and I thought to myself here he is,
  • 00:02:23.270 --> 00:02:25.200
  • 97 years old, having these health problems,
  • 00:02:25.200 --> 00:02:29.050
  • going through all these different things with his body,
  • 00:02:29.050 --> 00:02:31.260
  • and he has this glow, this smile, this happiness,
  • 00:02:31.260 --> 00:02:36.260
  • and that is so catchy to me, such a witness to me,
  • 00:02:38.090 --> 00:02:42.140
  • because I meet a lot of people
  • 00:02:42.140 --> 00:02:44.040
  • who have a lot of things going for them
  • 00:02:44.040 --> 00:02:45.240
  • and they're not happy at all.
  • 00:02:45.240 --> 00:02:47.240
  • And part of being zealous, and being passionate,
  • 00:02:47.240 --> 00:02:50.280
  • and having energy is being happy.
  • 00:02:50.280 --> 00:02:53.250
  • I love passionate people, enthusiastic people,
  • 00:02:55.060 --> 00:02:58.100
  • and I wanted to talk to you a little bit
  • 00:02:58.100 --> 00:02:59.290
  • about enthusiasm and what that means.
  • 00:02:59.290 --> 00:03:02.250
  • The word enthusiasm, en theos, in God.
  • 00:03:02.250 --> 00:03:07.250
  • Literally it means to be possessed by God.
  • 00:03:09.010 --> 00:03:11.190
  • You see, God is creative, and majestic, and large.
  • 00:03:11.190 --> 00:03:16.190
  • What I mean by large is we're made in His image,
  • 00:03:19.130 --> 00:03:22.160
  • we can be large too, what I mean by large is
  • 00:03:22.160 --> 00:03:25.240
  • is that God is enthusiastic
  • 00:03:25.240 --> 00:03:27.280
  • and passionate about His creation.
  • 00:03:27.280 --> 00:03:30.110
  • For example, I remember I was writing a book recently
  • 00:03:30.110 --> 00:03:34.170
  • and the church I was writing the book at
  • 00:03:34.170 --> 00:03:36.150
  • was very close to the Atlantic Ocean,
  • 00:03:36.150 --> 00:03:38.230
  • and I love to go for walks by the beach.
  • 00:03:38.230 --> 00:03:41.200
  • And I would go to the beach and I would
  • 00:03:41.200 --> 00:03:43.050
  • even have a little bike and I would ride on the beach,
  • 00:03:43.050 --> 00:03:45.280
  • and I would see the ocean.
  • 00:03:45.280 --> 00:03:47.050
  • Some people are surfing out on the ocean
  • 00:03:47.050 --> 00:03:49.130
  • and others are fishing in the ocean,
  • 00:03:49.130 --> 00:03:51.100
  • but when I see the ocean I see creativity,
  • 00:03:51.100 --> 00:03:55.100
  • I see intelligence, I see passion.
  • 00:03:55.100 --> 00:03:59.200
  • God created this huge Atlantic Ocean,
  • 00:04:00.260 --> 00:04:03.240
  • one of seven in the world,
  • 00:04:03.240 --> 00:04:06.010
  • and it seemingly goes on forever, teeming with life,
  • 00:04:06.010 --> 00:04:09.230
  • and this is who our God is,
  • 00:04:09.230 --> 00:04:11.050
  • majestic, eternal, passionate, creative, intelligent,
  • 00:04:11.050 --> 00:04:16.050
  • and we're made in His image.
  • 00:04:17.130 --> 00:04:19.270
  • And so that's why it says be zealous,
  • 00:04:19.270 --> 00:04:23.030
  • serve the Lord, give yourself with passion.
  • 00:04:23.030 --> 00:04:28.030
  • Because God is passionate, we can be passionate too.
  • 00:04:29.170 --> 00:04:31.210
  • But I love to see passionate people like Father Simon,
  • 00:04:31.210 --> 00:04:35.030
  • and I remember one time there was a policeman in New York,
  • 00:04:35.030 --> 00:04:39.190
  • and he was directing traffic.
  • 00:04:39.190 --> 00:04:42.080
  • And I mean, he was out there, I saw this on TV,
  • 00:04:42.080 --> 00:04:44.290
  • and he's blowing his whistle, and he's stopping them,
  • 00:04:44.290 --> 00:04:47.050
  • and he's running around, and he's doing moon walking,
  • 00:04:47.050 --> 00:04:49.240
  • and he's laughing at everything,
  • 00:04:49.240 --> 00:04:51.000
  • and everybody was taking pictures of him
  • 00:04:51.000 --> 00:04:53.050
  • because he was so passionate.
  • 00:04:53.050 --> 00:04:54.260
  • Other police, you know, they just stand there
  • 00:04:54.260 --> 00:04:57.000
  • and blow their whistle,
  • 00:04:57.000 --> 00:04:58.150
  • and they don't have much enthusiasm,
  • 00:04:58.150 --> 00:05:01.120
  • and you know, you can do that no matter what your job is.
  • 00:05:01.120 --> 00:05:03.210
  • I love it when I see waitresses that are smiling and happy
  • 00:05:03.210 --> 00:05:08.210
  • and they come over and they ask you,
  • 00:05:08.210 --> 00:05:10.060
  • "How are you doing today?" and, "How's your day going?"
  • 00:05:10.060 --> 00:05:12.170
  • And I think to myself, you know,
  • 00:05:12.170 --> 00:05:13.240
  • they don't have to say those things
  • 00:05:13.240 --> 00:05:15.130
  • but they're passionate and enthusiastic about their job.
  • 00:05:15.130 --> 00:05:20.030
  • And I've heard it said, you know they've taken surveys
  • 00:05:20.030 --> 00:05:23.250
  • that employers will say this,
  • 00:05:23.250 --> 00:05:25.240
  • that people that are qualified for the job
  • 00:05:25.240 --> 00:05:29.130
  • know they'll be interviewed,
  • 00:05:29.130 --> 00:05:31.090
  • but sometimes people that are under qualified,
  • 00:05:31.090 --> 00:05:35.170
  • who have a lot of enthusiasm,
  • 00:05:35.170 --> 00:05:37.270
  • who have a lot of passion,
  • 00:05:37.270 --> 00:05:39.260
  • who have energy, they'll get the job
  • 00:05:39.260 --> 00:05:43.120
  • even over the people that are qualified for the job.
  • 00:05:43.120 --> 00:05:47.160
  • So passion is extremely important.
  • 00:05:47.160 --> 00:05:51.030
  • I remember years ago I was ordained to the priesthood,
  • 00:05:51.030 --> 00:05:55.210
  • big ordination ceremony, my parents were there,
  • 00:05:55.210 --> 00:05:59.030
  • my friends were there, full church of people,
  • 00:05:59.030 --> 00:06:02.070
  • the Bishop, couple others were being ordained with me.
  • 00:06:02.070 --> 00:06:05.220
  • This is back in 1991, I've been a priest now
  • 00:06:05.220 --> 00:06:08.010
  • for 27 years as I tape this,
  • 00:06:08.010 --> 00:06:10.240
  • and during the priesthood ordination,
  • 00:06:10.240 --> 00:06:13.170
  • there is a point where the priest candidates
  • 00:06:13.170 --> 00:06:16.070
  • will all lie prostrate on the ground,
  • 00:06:16.070 --> 00:06:19.270
  • and everybody prays for them.
  • 00:06:19.270 --> 00:06:21.250
  • The Litany of the Saints is sung.
  • 00:06:21.250 --> 00:06:25.010
  • And as I was lying there prostate on the ground,
  • 00:06:25.010 --> 00:06:27.050
  • prostrate on the ground,
  • 00:06:27.050 --> 00:06:28.280
  • I could see the floor right in front of me
  • 00:06:28.280 --> 00:06:31.150
  • because my face was right on the floor,
  • 00:06:31.150 --> 00:06:33.270
  • and I could almost breathe in the dust.
  • 00:06:33.270 --> 00:06:36.170
  • It was a position of humility and surrender.
  • 00:06:36.170 --> 00:06:40.040
  • And as I was laying there, at the moment of my ordination,
  • 00:06:40.040 --> 00:06:44.160
  • I was speaking to God.
  • 00:06:45.200 --> 00:06:47.220
  • Everybody was praying for me,
  • 00:06:47.220 --> 00:06:49.220
  • it was everything I had been working for and studying for.
  • 00:06:49.220 --> 00:06:53.210
  • And I remember what I said to God.
  • 00:06:53.210 --> 00:06:55.290
  • I said, "Lord, you've called me,
  • 00:06:55.290 --> 00:06:57.210
  • "you've anointed me with your Holy Spirit,
  • 00:06:58.260 --> 00:07:01.170
  • "I promise you this: I will live with passion,
  • 00:07:01.170 --> 00:07:05.290
  • "I will give myself whole-heartedly to you,
  • 00:07:07.030 --> 00:07:10.190
  • "and together we are gonna change this world." (laughs)
  • 00:07:10.190 --> 00:07:15.110
  • Fast forward years later, God opened a door
  • 00:07:15.110 --> 00:07:18.080
  • for me to get on television, Trinity Broadcasting,
  • 00:07:18.080 --> 00:07:21.190
  • EWTN, many Catholic affiliates,
  • 00:07:21.190 --> 00:07:25.100
  • secular stations where I buy time,
  • 00:07:25.100 --> 00:07:28.020
  • and the name of my program is called "Live with Passion".
  • 00:07:28.020 --> 00:07:31.110
  • I want people to come into a personal relationship with God,
  • 00:07:31.110 --> 00:07:34.220
  • I want you to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
  • 00:07:34.220 --> 00:07:36.250
  • That's the number one thing I want.
  • 00:07:36.250 --> 00:07:38.160
  • But I also want you to live lives with enthusiasm.
  • 00:07:38.160 --> 00:07:43.150
  • Remember, en theos, in God, possessed by God.
  • 00:07:43.150 --> 00:07:48.050
  • I want people to see your smile.
  • 00:07:48.050 --> 00:07:51.040
  • I want them to see your energy,
  • 00:07:51.040 --> 00:07:52.220
  • your creativity, your determination.
  • 00:07:52.220 --> 00:07:55.110
  • I want you to change the world
  • 00:07:55.110 --> 00:07:56.220
  • right where you live and have your being,
  • 00:07:56.220 --> 00:07:59.090
  • because you can make a difference.
  • 00:07:59.090 --> 00:08:00.250
  • Remember, you were made in the image of God,
  • 00:08:00.250 --> 00:08:03.150
  • and that's what that scripture said.
  • 00:08:03.150 --> 00:08:05.060
  • Serve the Lord no matter what you're doing,
  • 00:08:05.060 --> 00:08:07.190
  • whether you're a policeman, a waitress,
  • 00:08:07.190 --> 00:08:10.150
  • a mechanic, a doctor, a priest,
  • 00:08:10.150 --> 00:08:13.180
  • serve the Lord with enthusiasm.
  • 00:08:13.180 --> 00:08:17.010
  • It was Vince Lombardi, remember the coach
  • 00:08:17.010 --> 00:08:20.130
  • of the Green Bay Packers years ago,
  • 00:08:20.130 --> 00:08:22.220
  • won all those championships.
  • 00:08:22.220 --> 00:08:24.160
  • He would tell his players, he would say,
  • 00:08:24.160 --> 00:08:27.070
  • "Be fired with enthusiasm
  • 00:08:27.070 --> 00:08:30.160
  • "or you will be fired with enthusiasm." (laughs)
  • 00:08:30.160 --> 00:08:34.260
  • So it's really important to be enthusiastic.
  • 00:08:34.260 --> 00:08:38.090
  • Now, I know that many of you have jobs,
  • 00:08:38.090 --> 00:08:43.090
  • some of you are single, others are divorced and widowed,
  • 00:08:44.210 --> 00:08:48.100
  • you've been through a lot,
  • 00:08:48.100 --> 00:08:50.100
  • and I know that life can come at you,
  • 00:08:50.100 --> 00:08:52.180
  • circumstances can come at you,
  • 00:08:52.180 --> 00:08:54.280
  • to try to diminish the enthusiasm that you have.
  • 00:08:54.280 --> 00:08:59.220
  • I think about people that get married
  • 00:08:59.220 --> 00:09:01.250
  • and once they get married
  • 00:09:01.250 --> 00:09:03.080
  • they're in the honeymoon stage, and they're loving it,
  • 00:09:03.080 --> 00:09:06.040
  • and then after a while things kind of wane.
  • 00:09:06.040 --> 00:09:09.040
  • And you first get a job,
  • 00:09:09.040 --> 00:09:10.240
  • and you're real happy about the job,
  • 00:09:10.240 --> 00:09:12.060
  • and you're giving a lot to it,
  • 00:09:12.060 --> 00:09:13.180
  • then after a while it's the same old, same old,
  • 00:09:13.180 --> 00:09:16.230
  • and you don't really be enthusiastic anymore.
  • 00:09:16.230 --> 00:09:20.030
  • That's exactly what was going in on Job's life.
  • 00:09:20.030 --> 00:09:23.000
  • Job, of course, in the Bible,
  • 00:09:23.000 --> 00:09:24.160
  • one of the great books of the Bible in the Old Testament.
  • 00:09:24.160 --> 00:09:28.090
  • Job was struggling, and Job was struggling
  • 00:09:28.090 --> 00:09:31.110
  • because of his physical afflictions,
  • 00:09:31.110 --> 00:09:34.240
  • and he was having hardships because of his circumstances.
  • 00:09:34.240 --> 00:09:39.200
  • And so this is what he said, he said,
  • 00:09:39.200 --> 00:09:41.220
  • "Life is drudgery", oh, what a pessimistic book.
  • 00:09:41.220 --> 00:09:46.220
  • It's so sad, he was going through
  • 00:09:47.280 --> 00:09:49.110
  • all those trials, and circumstances, and hardships,
  • 00:09:49.110 --> 00:09:52.040
  • and he talked about life as being a drudgery, how sad.
  • 00:09:52.040 --> 00:09:55.160
  • You know, it was Henry David Thoreau that said,
  • 00:09:55.160 --> 00:09:58.260
  • "Most people live lives of quiet desperation."
  • 00:09:58.260 --> 00:10:03.220
  • And so you know there's another side of life,
  • 00:10:04.290 --> 00:10:07.130
  • the desperate side, the drudgery, the same old, same old,
  • 00:10:07.130 --> 00:10:11.150
  • and I understand that, I get that.
  • 00:10:11.150 --> 00:10:14.020
  • Circumstances come at everybody.
  • 00:10:14.020 --> 00:10:16.040
  • Physical pain, sufferings, diseases,
  • 00:10:17.060 --> 00:10:21.070
  • hardships, circumstances.
  • 00:10:21.070 --> 00:10:24.130
  • I love what Chuck Swindoll, the minister said, he said,
  • 00:10:24.130 --> 00:10:26.290
  • "Life is 10% about what happens to you
  • 00:10:26.290 --> 00:10:29.060
  • "and 90% about how you react to what happens to you."
  • 00:10:29.060 --> 00:10:34.010
  • So it's not all about the circumstances,
  • 00:10:34.010 --> 00:10:36.010
  • and the hardships, and the sufferings,
  • 00:10:36.010 --> 00:10:37.220
  • and the hard afflictions that come to you,
  • 00:10:37.220 --> 00:10:41.020
  • it's about how you react to them.
  • 00:10:41.020 --> 00:10:43.010
  • You see, the name of the series that I'm doing
  • 00:10:43.010 --> 00:10:46.250
  • is called, "A Different Spirit".
  • 00:10:46.250 --> 00:10:49.270
  • Caleb, in the Old Testament, spied out the Promised Land
  • 00:10:49.270 --> 00:10:54.270
  • and came back with a good report.
  • 00:10:56.020 --> 00:10:57.140
  • 10 others said there's giants in the land,
  • 00:10:57.140 --> 00:10:59.190
  • we're like grasshoppers in their sight,
  • 00:10:59.190 --> 00:11:01.180
  • we can't go in there.
  • 00:11:01.180 --> 00:11:03.010
  • Caleb and Joshua said yes we can.
  • 00:11:03.010 --> 00:11:05.250
  • Because God is with us,
  • 00:11:05.250 --> 00:11:08.120
  • we are well able to conquer the land.
  • 00:11:08.120 --> 00:11:10.230
  • And God said, "Caleb has a different spirit."
  • 00:11:10.230 --> 00:11:15.100
  • He's not like everybody else.
  • 00:11:15.100 --> 00:11:17.120
  • He's not the same as everybody else.
  • 00:11:17.120 --> 00:11:19.200
  • And as believers, you're not like the rest of the world.
  • 00:11:19.200 --> 00:11:23.080
  • First Peter says that we've been called out of darkness
  • 00:11:23.080 --> 00:11:26.230
  • into God's marvelous light to proclaim His glory.
  • 00:11:26.230 --> 00:11:31.130
  • So you're not like the rest of the world,
  • 00:11:31.130 --> 00:11:33.000
  • you have a different spirit, a good attitude,
  • 00:11:33.000 --> 00:11:37.220
  • an enthusiastic, passionate spirit.
  • 00:11:37.220 --> 00:11:42.030
  • And so all during this series,
  • 00:11:42.030 --> 00:11:43.220
  • I'm gonna talk about having a different spirit,
  • 00:11:43.220 --> 00:11:46.100
  • not being like the rest of the world,
  • 00:11:46.100 --> 00:11:48.060
  • not letting your circumstances overwhelm you.
  • 00:11:48.060 --> 00:11:51.070
  • You can be different.
  • 00:11:51.070 --> 00:11:53.010
  • You don't have to be the same as everybody else.
  • 00:11:53.010 --> 00:11:55.280
  • So don't let anything stop you.
  • 00:11:55.280 --> 00:11:57.250
  • Don't let your circumstances,
  • 00:11:58.220 --> 00:12:00.060
  • don't let your physical problems,
  • 00:12:00.060 --> 00:12:02.140
  • don't let the hardship stop you.
  • 00:12:02.140 --> 00:12:04.170
  • You have a different spirit, you are anointed with God.
  • 00:12:04.170 --> 00:12:08.120
  • God's Holy Spirit lives within you.
  • 00:12:09.190 --> 00:12:11.280
  • Remember what I said, there's a largeness in God,
  • 00:12:11.280 --> 00:12:14.240
  • God is creative, He's powerful,
  • 00:12:14.240 --> 00:12:17.190
  • and we are made in His image,
  • 00:12:17.190 --> 00:12:19.200
  • and God is passionate and so must we be.
  • 00:12:19.200 --> 00:12:24.050
  • So live with passion, I say that all the time
  • 00:12:24.050 --> 00:12:25.270
  • at the end of my programs.
  • 00:12:25.270 --> 00:12:27.040
  • Don't just live like the rest of the world,
  • 00:12:27.040 --> 00:12:29.290
  • live with passion, dream dreams,
  • 00:12:29.290 --> 00:12:33.200
  • be enthusiastic, accomplish, be determined,
  • 00:12:33.200 --> 00:12:38.200
  • don't let life stop you, keep pressing on.
  • 00:12:39.250 --> 00:12:44.000
  • You've got power within you.
  • 00:12:44.000 --> 00:12:46.140
  • I was reading this morning in my prayers
  • 00:12:46.140 --> 00:12:48.040
  • as I prepared for preaching today,
  • 00:12:48.040 --> 00:12:52.170
  • I read that beautiful verse from Romans 8.
  • 00:12:52.170 --> 00:12:55.190
  • "If God is for us, who can be against?"
  • 00:12:55.190 --> 00:13:00.170
  • And God is for us, He's with us,
  • 00:13:00.170 --> 00:13:04.190
  • and we are well able to conquer.
  • 00:13:04.190 --> 00:13:07.020
  • So, Paul and Silas, we've all heard that story.
  • 00:13:07.020 --> 00:13:10.090
  • They're in prison for preaching the gospel,
  • 00:13:10.090 --> 00:13:12.040
  • talk about bad circumstances, life being a drudgery.
  • 00:13:12.040 --> 00:13:15.220
  • They're in a Philippian jail.
  • 00:13:15.220 --> 00:13:17.070
  • I've been to Philippi, that jail was not a good place.
  • 00:13:17.070 --> 00:13:20.210
  • It was dark, dingy, and stinky.
  • 00:13:20.210 --> 00:13:23.150
  • It was a terrible place to be.
  • 00:13:23.150 --> 00:13:24.220
  • So here they are in jail
  • 00:13:24.220 --> 00:13:26.150
  • and they're singing at the midnight hour.
  • 00:13:26.150 --> 00:13:29.230
  • You see, they had a different spirit.
  • 00:13:29.230 --> 00:13:32.050
  • Most people in prison would've been crying,
  • 00:13:32.050 --> 00:13:34.270
  • and bemoaning, and complaining, and wailing, and negative.
  • 00:13:34.270 --> 00:13:39.160
  • Not Paul and Silas.
  • 00:13:39.160 --> 00:13:41.070
  • And it says that the jailer and everybody else in prison
  • 00:13:41.070 --> 00:13:45.030
  • was listening to them.
  • 00:13:45.030 --> 00:13:46.150
  • You see when you're singing, when you're smiling,
  • 00:13:46.150 --> 00:13:49.200
  • when you're passionate, people listen to you. (laughs)
  • 00:13:49.200 --> 00:13:53.110
  • You don't have to beat people over the head with a Bible,
  • 00:13:53.110 --> 00:13:56.140
  • you just simply have to be passionate,
  • 00:13:56.140 --> 00:13:59.130
  • spirit-filled, anointed.
  • 00:13:59.130 --> 00:14:01.200
  • So the jailer, everybody's listening to them,
  • 00:14:03.000 --> 00:14:05.030
  • and God was listening to them,
  • 00:14:06.110 --> 00:14:08.240
  • because the next thing that happened
  • 00:14:08.240 --> 00:14:10.090
  • was there was an earthquake, and the doors burst open,
  • 00:14:10.090 --> 00:14:14.070
  • the jailer comes up to Paul and says,
  • 00:14:14.070 --> 00:14:15.290
  • "What do I gotta do to be saved?
  • 00:14:15.290 --> 00:14:17.110
  • "I want what you have, I want this passion,
  • 00:14:17.110 --> 00:14:19.230
  • "I want this enthusiasm."
  • 00:14:19.230 --> 00:14:22.030
  • So enthusiasm is catchy, of course.
  • 00:14:22.030 --> 00:14:24.180
  • Slaves in the United States when they
  • 00:14:24.180 --> 00:14:27.080
  • were doing that back-breaking work,
  • 00:14:27.080 --> 00:14:28.240
  • it was so hard for them, they would sing
  • 00:14:28.240 --> 00:14:31.170
  • songs like "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot".
  • 00:14:31.170 --> 00:14:34.260
  • It was a song about the Underground Railroad,
  • 00:14:34.260 --> 00:14:37.010
  • it was a song of hope.
  • 00:14:37.010 --> 00:14:39.050
  • They would sing "Go Down Moses".
  • 00:14:39.050 --> 00:14:41.090
  • Of course, Moses the great Deliverer from slavery.
  • 00:14:41.090 --> 00:14:44.180
  • They would sing songs of hope,
  • 00:14:44.180 --> 00:14:47.040
  • so at your worst moments when life's hard,
  • 00:14:47.040 --> 00:14:49.100
  • none of you are in slavery,
  • 00:14:49.100 --> 00:14:50.190
  • but when life's tough and you're
  • 00:14:50.190 --> 00:14:52.040
  • dealing with physical sufferings,
  • 00:14:52.040 --> 00:14:54.190
  • grieving, hardships, relationship problems, try singing.
  • 00:14:54.190 --> 00:14:59.160
  • Singing lifts our hearts, fills us with this,
  • 00:14:59.160 --> 00:15:03.250
  • God inhabits the praises of his people.
  • 00:15:03.250 --> 00:15:08.020
  • And so just to let you know, besides television and radio,
  • 00:15:08.020 --> 00:15:12.200
  • one of the ministries that I have
  • 00:15:12.200 --> 00:15:14.130
  • is something called Parrish Missions.
  • 00:15:14.130 --> 00:15:17.170
  • Parrish mission in the Catholic tradition,
  • 00:15:17.170 --> 00:15:19.260
  • it's like a revival for the Catholic church.
  • 00:15:19.260 --> 00:15:22.290
  • So I go to all these different churches.
  • 00:15:22.290 --> 00:15:24.220
  • After I proclaim these TV programs,
  • 00:15:24.220 --> 00:15:26.260
  • I'll be going to Baltimore, I'll be going up to Chicago,
  • 00:15:26.260 --> 00:15:31.190
  • I'll be going to Louisville, Kentucky,
  • 00:15:31.190 --> 00:15:34.000
  • I'll be going to Galveston, and Florida,
  • 00:15:34.000 --> 00:15:37.140
  • and all these different places.
  • 00:15:37.140 --> 00:15:38.180
  • So I go into a Parrish and I preach,
  • 00:15:38.180 --> 00:15:41.240
  • and I try to help believers to have
  • 00:15:41.240 --> 00:15:43.150
  • a deep, personal relationship with Christ,
  • 00:15:43.150 --> 00:15:46.140
  • and I try to help them to live abundant lives,
  • 00:15:46.140 --> 00:15:49.130
  • to realize their potential, to live lives of passion.
  • 00:15:49.130 --> 00:15:53.010
  • Well, I realize who's out there,
  • 00:15:53.270 --> 00:15:56.260
  • and I know who's in the pews.
  • 00:15:56.260 --> 00:15:58.150
  • People that have lost their spouse,
  • 00:15:58.150 --> 00:16:01.220
  • people that are struggling in marriage,
  • 00:16:01.220 --> 00:16:04.100
  • people that are dealing with depression, with addictions,
  • 00:16:04.100 --> 00:16:08.040
  • people going through life.
  • 00:16:08.040 --> 00:16:11.010
  • And so one of the first things I do
  • 00:16:11.010 --> 00:16:12.180
  • when I get into the Parrish is I talk to the musician,
  • 00:16:12.180 --> 00:16:16.270
  • and I say, "Hey, we gotta get some songs together
  • 00:16:16.270 --> 00:16:19.150
  • "that are gonna lift their spirits,
  • 00:16:19.150 --> 00:16:21.110
  • "that are gonna worship God,
  • 00:16:21.110 --> 00:16:23.050
  • "that are gonna praise the Lord."
  • 00:16:23.050 --> 00:16:25.110
  • And so we get together and we pick songs
  • 00:16:25.110 --> 00:16:27.180
  • that are buoyant and enthusiastic and worship God
  • 00:16:27.180 --> 00:16:32.180
  • because as it says in the Bible,
  • 00:16:33.230 --> 00:16:35.220
  • "God inhabits the praise of His people."
  • 00:16:35.220 --> 00:16:39.140
  • So in other words, as you praise God,
  • 00:16:39.140 --> 00:16:42.170
  • as you worship God, like Paul and Silas,
  • 00:16:42.170 --> 00:16:45.270
  • things start to happen. (laughs)
  • 00:16:45.270 --> 00:16:47.290
  • And so that's exactly what I want to happen on my missions.
  • 00:16:47.290 --> 00:16:50.150
  • I want people to be touched,
  • 00:16:50.150 --> 00:16:52.220
  • I want God to inhabit them, to change them,
  • 00:16:52.220 --> 00:16:57.220
  • and to help them right in their struggles.
  • 00:16:58.270 --> 00:17:00.140
  • I was watching the US Open Tennis on TV,
  • 00:17:00.140 --> 00:17:03.160
  • and here's these two people battling
  • 00:17:03.160 --> 00:17:05.240
  • in front of tens of thousands of people in the arena,
  • 00:17:05.240 --> 00:17:09.010
  • millions of people on TV, and it's a very difficult thing
  • 00:17:09.010 --> 00:17:12.270
  • to do battle in front of all those people.
  • 00:17:12.270 --> 00:17:14.200
  • They're trying as hard as they can.
  • 00:17:14.200 --> 00:17:16.110
  • And I remember one man hit the ball and he made the point,
  • 00:17:16.110 --> 00:17:19.250
  • and then right after the point everybody
  • 00:17:19.250 --> 00:17:21.100
  • was clapping and everything and he was talking to himself,
  • 00:17:21.100 --> 00:17:24.030
  • and he was saying, "Come on, you can do it.
  • 00:17:24.030 --> 00:17:26.120
  • "Be strong, don't give up, you can win this thing."
  • 00:17:26.120 --> 00:17:29.180
  • He was encouraging himself.
  • 00:17:29.180 --> 00:17:31.090
  • Now, he would look to his box,
  • 00:17:31.090 --> 00:17:33.190
  • his box had his girlfriend, and his coach,
  • 00:17:33.190 --> 00:17:35.290
  • and other family members in there,
  • 00:17:35.290 --> 00:17:37.260
  • and they're all encouraging him,
  • 00:17:37.260 --> 00:17:39.120
  • and that helps and everything,
  • 00:17:39.120 --> 00:17:40.190
  • but the bottom line is, is oftentimes,
  • 00:17:40.190 --> 00:17:42.250
  • people don't know exactly what you're going through,
  • 00:17:42.250 --> 00:17:46.070
  • and you can't count on people to encourage you.
  • 00:17:46.070 --> 00:17:49.190
  • Now, I get a lot of, I get some letters
  • 00:17:49.190 --> 00:17:51.240
  • from partners and partners support me financially,
  • 00:17:51.240 --> 00:17:55.220
  • and I'm so thankful for my partners
  • 00:17:55.220 --> 00:17:57.280
  • and I pray for you everyday.
  • 00:17:57.280 --> 00:17:59.220
  • People make donations to me,
  • 00:17:59.220 --> 00:18:01.100
  • people send me letters of encouragement saying,
  • 00:18:01.100 --> 00:18:03.210
  • "Father Cedric, we love hearing a spirit-filled priest",
  • 00:18:03.210 --> 00:18:06.150
  • and, "Thank you for preaching on TV",
  • 00:18:06.150 --> 00:18:07.270
  • and I appreciate all that,
  • 00:18:07.270 --> 00:18:09.110
  • but the bottom line is, is that I have to encourage myself,
  • 00:18:09.110 --> 00:18:14.050
  • and that makes me passionate.
  • 00:18:15.010 --> 00:18:15.240
  • Let me tell you a story from the Old Testament.
  • 00:18:17.000 --> 00:18:18.230
  • It was David in a town called Ziklag,
  • 00:18:18.230 --> 00:18:22.280
  • and he was going through the hardest moment of his life.
  • 00:18:22.280 --> 00:18:25.120
  • The Amalekites had burnt the town with fire,
  • 00:18:25.120 --> 00:18:27.250
  • had captured the women, took his two wives captive,
  • 00:18:27.250 --> 00:18:31.270
  • and the people were mutinying against David
  • 00:18:31.270 --> 00:18:35.020
  • because of all that had just happened.
  • 00:18:35.020 --> 00:18:37.180
  • They wanted to stone him.
  • 00:18:37.180 --> 00:18:39.030
  • David was all alone, it was the worst moment of his life.
  • 00:18:39.030 --> 00:18:41.130
  • They had just burnt his city, taken his wives,
  • 00:18:41.130 --> 00:18:44.120
  • and the people wanted to stone him,
  • 00:18:44.120 --> 00:18:45.240
  • and at the worst moment of his life,
  • 00:18:45.240 --> 00:18:47.260
  • David started to, as the scriptures say,
  • 00:18:47.260 --> 00:18:50.260
  • said he encouraged himself in the Lord as God.
  • 00:18:50.260 --> 00:18:55.040
  • What was he doing?
  • 00:18:55.040 --> 00:18:56.100
  • He was thinking about past victories
  • 00:18:56.100 --> 00:18:58.090
  • that God had given him.
  • 00:18:58.090 --> 00:18:59.170
  • For example, when he was a shepherd boy,
  • 00:18:59.170 --> 00:19:01.260
  • when the lion and the bear would attack,
  • 00:19:01.260 --> 00:19:03.180
  • God would give him victory over them.
  • 00:19:03.180 --> 00:19:06.000
  • And then of course we all know about the story of Goliath,
  • 00:19:06.000 --> 00:19:08.110
  • this huge, monster coming after him,
  • 00:19:08.110 --> 00:19:12.220
  • and David defeated Goliath because of the Lord,
  • 00:19:12.220 --> 00:19:15.240
  • and then all the other victories
  • 00:19:15.240 --> 00:19:17.270
  • that he had had in his life.
  • 00:19:17.270 --> 00:19:19.050
  • So what David did in his lowest moment
  • 00:19:19.050 --> 00:19:21.250
  • when everything was coming against him
  • 00:19:21.250 --> 00:19:23.140
  • is he thought about all the good things
  • 00:19:23.140 --> 00:19:25.050
  • that God had done in his life,
  • 00:19:25.050 --> 00:19:27.120
  • and he wrote the psalms, beautiful psalms,
  • 00:19:27.120 --> 00:19:30.160
  • with the harp, singing, of course,
  • 00:19:30.160 --> 00:19:33.100
  • as I've told you to do, Psalm 56 for example.
  • 00:19:33.100 --> 00:19:36.170
  • "When I'm afraid, I put my trust in you."
  • 00:19:36.170 --> 00:19:40.170
  • Other psalms, "God is my rock and my deliverer,
  • 00:19:40.170 --> 00:19:43.160
  • "my strength, my stronghold.
  • 00:19:43.160 --> 00:19:46.050
  • "God is my fortress, my light, my shepherd."
  • 00:19:46.050 --> 00:19:50.160
  • So when you're going through a hard time,
  • 00:19:50.160 --> 00:19:53.110
  • when you're going through your low moments,
  • 00:19:53.110 --> 00:19:54.270
  • and nothing can be worse than having your city burnt,
  • 00:19:54.270 --> 00:19:57.080
  • your wives taken into captivity,
  • 00:19:57.080 --> 00:19:58.280
  • and the people wanna stone you,
  • 00:19:58.280 --> 00:20:00.160
  • nothing could be that bad,
  • 00:20:00.160 --> 00:20:01.240
  • but when you're going through hard times,
  • 00:20:01.240 --> 00:20:03.030
  • maybe it's grieving, financial problems,
  • 00:20:03.030 --> 00:20:05.110
  • relationship problems, physical problems, come to God.
  • 00:20:05.110 --> 00:20:10.050
  • Encourage yourself in God.
  • 00:20:11.010 --> 00:20:13.110
  • God will strengthen you to live with passion.
  • 00:20:13.110 --> 00:20:16.170
  • You can either be negative or positive,
  • 00:20:16.170 --> 00:20:19.030
  • but when you're positive, when you're encouraging,
  • 00:20:19.030 --> 00:20:24.030
  • you will find God at work in you.
  • 00:20:24.030 --> 00:20:26.030
  • That's exactly what I do when
  • 00:20:26.030 --> 00:20:27.160
  • I'm about to preach for television,
  • 00:20:27.160 --> 00:20:29.140
  • and I'm about to preach a Parrish mission,
  • 00:20:30.170 --> 00:20:33.000
  • and I'm about to write a book.
  • 00:20:33.000 --> 00:20:34.160
  • I think about the ways that God
  • 00:20:35.130 --> 00:20:36.260
  • has worked in my life in the past.
  • 00:20:36.260 --> 00:20:39.080
  • And it's been wonderful, He's given me
  • 00:20:39.080 --> 00:20:40.180
  • such victories with television,
  • 00:20:40.180 --> 00:20:42.250
  • He's opened so many doors for me.
  • 00:20:42.250 --> 00:20:45.050
  • And then with the Parrish missions,
  • 00:20:45.050 --> 00:20:46.270
  • so many people have been touched in the confessional
  • 00:20:46.270 --> 00:20:49.060
  • and through the preaching and counseling.
  • 00:20:49.060 --> 00:20:52.080
  • Then writing books, I get these testimonies
  • 00:20:52.080 --> 00:20:54.260
  • of people that are reading my books
  • 00:20:54.260 --> 00:20:56.110
  • and saying, "Father, keep writing."
  • 00:20:56.110 --> 00:20:59.020
  • So I encourage myself when it's hard,
  • 00:20:59.020 --> 00:21:01.060
  • when difficulties come against me.
  • 00:21:01.060 --> 00:21:03.230
  • I encourage myself in the Lord and I say,
  • 00:21:03.230 --> 00:21:05.230
  • "Lord, you've given me such victories in the past,
  • 00:21:05.230 --> 00:21:07.230
  • "I know that you're gonna give me victories in the future."
  • 00:21:07.230 --> 00:21:10.070
  • And it's the same for you.
  • 00:21:10.070 --> 00:21:11.230
  • If you wanna live a passionate life,
  • 00:21:11.230 --> 00:21:13.270
  • encourage yourself in the Lord.
  • 00:21:13.270 --> 00:21:17.080
  • He's been there, He's created you, He's protected you,
  • 00:21:17.080 --> 00:21:20.020
  • He's sustained you, He's got a glorious future for you,
  • 00:21:20.020 --> 00:21:23.180
  • He loves you, don't give up, don't be negative,
  • 00:21:23.180 --> 00:21:27.160
  • don't put your nose down, don't complain.
  • 00:21:27.160 --> 00:21:29.280
  • Life isn't a drudgery, it's beautiful.
  • 00:21:29.280 --> 00:21:32.130
  • Live with passion, "Never flag in zeal,
  • 00:21:33.180 --> 00:21:37.050
  • "be zealous, be aglow with the Spirit",
  • 00:21:37.050 --> 00:21:40.120
  • Paul told the Romans, serve the Lord.
  • 00:21:40.120 --> 00:21:44.130
  • And so encourage yourself in the Lord.
  • 00:21:44.130 --> 00:21:47.030
  • I heard about a man, he had kinda lost his luster,
  • 00:21:47.030 --> 00:21:51.060
  • felt depressed, he was down,
  • 00:21:51.060 --> 00:21:53.210
  • his nose was down all the time, he was ready to give up,
  • 00:21:53.210 --> 00:21:56.000
  • and he went to his pastor for counseling.
  • 00:21:56.000 --> 00:21:58.180
  • And after talking a while, the pastor said this to him
  • 00:21:58.180 --> 00:22:00.240
  • he said, "So how long has it been
  • 00:22:00.240 --> 00:22:02.020
  • "since you and your wife split up?"
  • 00:22:02.020 --> 00:22:04.170
  • And the man looked at him and he says, "Split up?
  • 00:22:04.170 --> 00:22:06.120
  • "We have a good marriage, we're not split up."
  • 00:22:06.120 --> 00:22:09.160
  • Then the pastor said, "Well, too bad
  • 00:22:09.160 --> 00:22:10.210
  • "your children flunked out of school."
  • 00:22:10.210 --> 00:22:13.050
  • And he said, "Flunked out of school?
  • 00:22:13.050 --> 00:22:14.190
  • "What are you talking about?"
  • 00:22:14.190 --> 00:22:15.250
  • He said, "They're getting good grades."
  • 00:22:15.250 --> 00:22:17.170
  • And then the pastor says,
  • 00:22:17.170 --> 00:22:18.230
  • "So where are you gonna find a new job?"
  • 00:22:18.230 --> 00:22:20.260
  • He says, "What do you mean find a new job?
  • 00:22:20.260 --> 00:22:22.120
  • "I got a great job."
  • 00:22:22.120 --> 00:22:24.040
  • And then the pastor said, "Lemme get this straight.
  • 00:22:24.040 --> 00:22:27.040
  • "You got a good marriage,
  • 00:22:27.040 --> 00:22:28.210
  • "your children are doing well at school, you love your job.
  • 00:22:28.210 --> 00:22:32.290
  • "Your problem is you need to count your blessings.
  • 00:22:34.120 --> 00:22:37.100
  • "You're spending your whole time complaining,
  • 00:22:38.150 --> 00:22:40.160
  • "you're looking at the negative side of life,
  • 00:22:40.160 --> 00:22:42.050
  • "you're like Job saying, 'Life is a drudgery',
  • 00:22:42.050 --> 00:22:44.190
  • "but the bottom line is, is you've got a lot going for you.
  • 00:22:44.190 --> 00:22:48.080
  • "What you need to do is appreciate your life."
  • 00:22:48.080 --> 00:22:50.160
  • And it's the same with you.
  • 00:22:50.160 --> 00:22:51.240
  • If you wanna live a passionate life,
  • 00:22:51.240 --> 00:22:53.070
  • don't look at all the negative things,
  • 00:22:53.070 --> 00:22:54.250
  • and everybody's got negative things going on.
  • 00:22:54.250 --> 00:22:57.040
  • Rather, focus on the positive,
  • 00:22:58.020 --> 00:23:00.030
  • focus on the good things that you have,
  • 00:23:00.030 --> 00:23:01.250
  • count your blessings, give thanks,
  • 00:23:01.250 --> 00:23:06.200
  • sing to the Lord, encourage yourself in God.
  • 00:23:06.200 --> 00:23:11.030
  • In Avella, and that's in Spain,
  • 00:23:12.010 --> 00:23:15.030
  • in the sacristy, that's where we vest as priests
  • 00:23:16.090 --> 00:23:19.200
  • right before we go out and celebrate Mass,
  • 00:23:19.200 --> 00:23:22.160
  • there was a sign in the sacristy, and it says this:
  • 00:23:22.160 --> 00:23:26.210
  • "Priest of Jesus Christ, celebrate this Holy Mass
  • 00:23:26.210 --> 00:23:31.210
  • "as if it were your first Mass,
  • 00:23:32.170 --> 00:23:34.150
  • "your last Mass, your only Mass."
  • 00:23:34.150 --> 00:23:38.080
  • And I love that because it's saying
  • 00:23:38.080 --> 00:23:40.180
  • don't just do the ritual, just don't go through the motions,
  • 00:23:40.180 --> 00:23:45.170
  • do it as if it's the only time
  • 00:23:47.010 --> 00:23:48.090
  • you're ever gonna have the Mass.
  • 00:23:48.090 --> 00:23:49.190
  • Do it as if it's your first Mass,
  • 00:23:49.190 --> 00:23:51.260
  • with energy, with enthusiasm.
  • 00:23:51.260 --> 00:23:55.130
  • Put everything that you have into it.
  • 00:23:55.130 --> 00:23:57.100
  • I would say the same thing about confession.
  • 00:23:57.100 --> 00:23:59.080
  • Those of you who are priests that are watching this program,
  • 00:23:59.080 --> 00:24:02.210
  • confession is a place where people
  • 00:24:02.210 --> 00:24:04.080
  • really get touched in a deep way,
  • 00:24:04.080 --> 00:24:06.140
  • so celebrate this confession
  • 00:24:06.140 --> 00:24:07.290
  • as if it were your first confession,
  • 00:24:07.290 --> 00:24:10.280
  • your last confession, and your only confession.
  • 00:24:10.280 --> 00:24:15.220
  • That person in front of you,
  • 00:24:15.220 --> 00:24:17.120
  • pouring out their sins, is precious.
  • 00:24:18.180 --> 00:24:21.190
  • So never flag in zeal, serve the Lord,
  • 00:24:21.190 --> 00:24:26.070
  • be aglow with the Spirit, live with passion.
  • 00:24:26.070 --> 00:24:29.210
  • And how do you do that?
  • 00:24:29.210 --> 00:24:31.070
  • Give thanks in all circumstances,
  • 00:24:31.070 --> 00:24:33.160
  • count your blessings, sing, encourage yourself in the Lord,
  • 00:24:33.160 --> 00:24:38.160
  • and appreciate the life that you have.
  • 00:24:39.210 --> 00:24:42.230
  • I want you to be filled with the Spirit
  • 00:24:42.230 --> 00:24:44.170
  • as you watch this program, I pray that you are,
  • 00:24:44.170 --> 00:24:46.060
  • but most of all and in addition to that,
  • 00:24:46.060 --> 00:24:49.020
  • I want you to live a life that will impact the world,
  • 00:24:49.020 --> 00:24:51.250
  • I want you to live with passion,
  • 00:24:51.250 --> 00:24:54.160
  • count your blessings, be positive,
  • 00:24:54.160 --> 00:24:57.040
  • and know that God is with you.
  • 00:24:57.040 --> 00:24:58.160
  • Don't just live, live with passion.
  • 00:24:58.160 --> 00:25:01.000
  • (serene chiming)
  • 00:25:01.000 --> 00:25:03.220
  • I talked about if you wanna be passionate,
  • 00:25:04.280 --> 00:25:06.200
  • you have to encourage yourself,
  • 00:25:06.200 --> 00:25:08.020
  • but also the encouragement of others
  • 00:25:08.020 --> 00:25:10.080
  • really helps me to be passionate, that's for sure.
  • 00:25:10.080 --> 00:25:12.110
  • Thank you to those of you who are my benefactors,
  • 00:25:12.110 --> 00:25:16.120
  • my partners, those of you who contact me
  • 00:25:16.120 --> 00:25:19.110
  • and send in donations and letters.
  • 00:25:19.110 --> 00:25:21.210
  • Love hearing from you.
  • 00:25:21.210 --> 00:25:23.080
  • Heard from a woman, she said this about my program.
  • 00:25:23.080 --> 00:25:25.070
  • She said, "I love your programs.
  • 00:25:25.070 --> 00:25:27.250
  • "Those 30 minutes on TV feel like five minutes for me."
  • 00:25:27.250 --> 00:25:31.210
  • Well, I appreciate that.
  • 00:25:31.210 --> 00:25:33.020
  • I guess you're listening very well
  • 00:25:33.020 --> 00:25:35.090
  • and I wanted to let you know about this program
  • 00:25:35.090 --> 00:25:38.180
  • I talked about, being passionate.
  • 00:25:38.180 --> 00:25:40.090
  • First book I ever wrote was called "Live Passionately!"
  • 00:25:40.090 --> 00:25:44.100
  • I realized that some of you
  • 00:25:44.100 --> 00:25:45.170
  • are going through some suffering,
  • 00:25:45.170 --> 00:25:47.020
  • so I talk about in this book the meaning of suffering,

  • how He died for us to have salvation.
  • 00:25:59.090 --> 00:26:01.130
